White has quickly joined Subban, Price, Plekanec and Pacioretty in my top-5 favorite players! Keep it up White!

White cannot stop giving reasons for Martin to keep him in the lineup... I expect him to be full time NHLer next season, same for Desharnais...

I really hope we have a bottom line of White-Engqvist-Schultz next year or the year after. Responsible defensively and tough as heck. We really need to dump Gomez however or we'll continuously rock the "four offensive lines" thing that works so well().

Most of us have been waiting for White to make his way into our 3rd 4th line, I think he is here to stay. Even JM can see this now I think.

Great job Ryan, you are so needed here.

Can't wait for the posts about how JM is responsible for the development of White.

Like P.K. said, Ryan had a great camp and should have made the team right at the beginning of the year. He is the kind of guy who you go to war with.

How would you rate White's skating? As a Junior he was quite effective offensively but wasnt a speedster

Honest 4th liner who will need to keep giving his 110% to stay in the lineup... don't turn him into another Garth Murray (God, I remember how this guy was soooo overrated after a few games).

Like what I see so far...

Not the best. Has to give his 110% just to keep up. As long as he is positionally sound... he won't look out of place.

We all said the same thing last year and White didn't get a starting job this season. Watching him play game after game he definitely deserves a spot here, hopefully we don't sign an older player this summer and give Whitey the roster spot

Since the pre-season games, White is my favourite player with the Habs.

He is a younger Matt Hendricks, Ian Laperriere, Jordin Tootoo... Those guys have (or had) a lot of impact with their team. White is a necessity in this hockey club.

I really like White.

He seems to be the type of player the Habs have not had in a long time. I wished that Lapierre could have added a little more edge to his game and play this type of role as well, but it was not meant to be.

White just looks so natural in the Habs jersey.

I like this guy. If he wants to stay in the lineup, he has to avoid taking dumb penalties like Lappy.

He has all the makings to become a great leader in the Habs locker room one day. I remember him saying in the pre-season he was trying to be more vocal on the bench because he wants to develop his leadership skills, I tried to find the article but it's so far back it's hard to find

He has great balance and can swing with power with both fists. he has a chance to be a heavyweight. I wish we knew his real size. I've seen him listed everywhere from 185lbs to 208lbs. He must be getting close to 220 cuz he really looks "big" without equipment. His bro is 6'6" 230lbs so hopefully he continues to grow...

More than that, he has to STOP with the bonehead turnovers. THREE last night, and one led to the only goal of the game (EN excepted).

Also, unlike Lapierre, White is slow.

I LOVED Moore-Lapierre-Pyatt last year, especially in the playoffs!

White is NOT responsible defensively. He might WANT to be, meaning he is definitely not lazy, but he is frequently making turnovers and bad decisions with and without the puck. Hopefully he will improve with time.

The three guys together you mentioned above might be the slowest line in the history of the NHL. I doubt the latter two ever make regular NHL status.

Man, i almost felt bad for Veilleux after I saw him wack Price's glove, it feels sooooo good being the aggressor once in a while. If White can practice his faceoffs and pk skills we could have a heck of a 4th liner in our hands. A Moen-White combo NEEDS do happen ASAP.

He wears his heart on his sleeve and that's why I like him, punching Veilleux is just an added bonus.
