Cann's getting exposed at LB, but that's too be expected.

The one guy I'm impressed with is Martina

Is Wilson coaching TFC? Brutal defense.

3-1

4-1? What is going on, I have the hockey and the soccer going, but I haven't been paying attention to the second half. We were looking alright in the first what happened?

I honestly knew we would lose this one. Not surprised.

White Caps have played really well

I guess that wasn't all that surprising, TFC's road record since it's inception:

Year W-L-T
2007 1-10-4
2008 3-11-1
2009 2-8-5
2010 3-10-2

The only two I was impressed with were Nick Soolsma and Javier Martina. Our defense absolutely sucks though.

Overall, I was impressed with the White caps, good crowd support and the team delivered. (Surprised it wasn't raining).

I thought Soolsma tried to do a bit much at times, but it was a bit tough to judge since he only played 45.

If they play Cann/Attakora at CB they'll be a lot better imo

The road games are always tough to swallow. Some of the new guys looked great.. others not so much. Also, awesome goal by Maicon Santos. Hopefully this year is his coming out party. Harden needs to learn how to play the offside trap.... and fast. Dreadful.

**** is really gonna hit the fan if we lose to Portland... But I think we'll get the 3 points. Should be interesting

I liked the possession aspect upfront. The defense looked in shambles though. Cann looked bad because I believe they had him at LB, when he's a CB. And Gargan at RB isn't going to cut it. Martina looked good, but Soolsma might be too slow.

Better get their act together next weekend.

Vancouver looked very good. I guess their fans should be happy they didn't have to wait 5 games for a goal (or however long we waited ).

Also, I heard the Dichio chant on the broadcast.

Which one? The first 3 games we didn't score or the 800+ minute drought? 2007 was fun.

Question on tickets...Are they usually sold out on game days and if so, how many days before a game would I have to purchase them in order to get decent seats?

stubhub.com is your best bet or similar sites.

Id do a week or two before.

Ill be at the home opener this Saturday, I have half season tix package.

Look for 3 drunk guys with a big red flag on the south eastern side.

let me put it this way... our home opener is on Saturday and it's not even sold out yet. scalper websites like stubhub aren't needed anymore.

what is your idea of a decent seat?

re: best seat

I'd recommend as close to possible to Gate 3. There's a lot of loud supporters in that section.

I was at the TFC/Whitecaps opener last weekend and have season tickets. The atmosphere was probably better than the TFC games I saw at BMO when I lived in Toronto. I'm really psyched for this season, but at the same time I hope Toronto doesn't suck too hard, but if history is any indication....

TFC sign draft pick Plata and get on loan Alex Stevanovic (Serbian 21 year old who trialed with Inter I think) from Turino of Italian Serie B.

Plata is a REALLY small guy. 5'2" 140 lbs I believe.

And MLSE is realizing that you can't have **** on the field and get away with it (crowds wise) like you can with the Leafs.

Martina with his first goal at the 15th!

1 - 0 TFC.

DeRo and Maicon set that up nicely.
