Somehow it made me wonder if fans will accept it better if we got Latendresse in first round and then Price in the second round?

I doubt Price would have fallen into the second round. Toronto for one could have taken him instead of Rask.

I doubt it. Price is a better pick in the first round I would think...IMO, tsn had him as a top 10 pick

Price would have been taken in the top 10 even if we had passed on him.

It is kinda funny, to me, anyway, that on the HF draft, Latendresse is 10th vs. Price's 19th. I'm extremely pleased with both additions to our prospect group.

Price won't past the 8th spot I am sure.
What I want to say is IF we get Latendresse first round and Price second round, will the Price bashers shut up?
The result is the same, we got both Latendresses and Price, but I am wondering if some people will feel it much better that way.

I would feel much better with Brule and Latendresse.

Or with a trade down + Price and Latendresse.

If Brule was 6'2" and 220 like Price, I might agree with you

Montreal could have flipped their pick to Columbus and added a 2nd round pick and drafted Ryder as well as taking Price #6 and Latendresse...

It's all academic now, the thing is we can't go back, we got Price and Latendresse, two of whom were in my top 15 , what more can you want?
