POTG - Voted for Dubi. Only watched the first 2 periods and the last 5 minutes of the game but he was noticeable the whole time.
The good - 5 in a row, Lundqvist, the offence took it to Florida, Defence played pretty well. Honorable mention to Vokun who played his heart out
The bad - Nothing really bad which is good this time of year
The Redden - The jerk in the High Occupancy Vehicle lane in front of me who wouldn't go a touch over 100KMH...and then the other 2 jerks who decided to get into an accident and block off the left turn lane on the highway offramp
I can't believe both Carolina and Buffalo are winning. I feel like no matter how well we play, and this is 6 wins out of 7 games now, that we can't make up much ground.
Look on the bright side. Buffalo is beating Montreal. The Rangers are only 3 points behind them with 8 to play if that score holds up. I think the Habs could be caught. And I'd really like for the Rangers to avoid Philly or Washington in the first round.

Reason: Couldn't spell a two letter word correctly. Unbelievable.
Player of the Game: Vokoun AINEC. My god it's going to be scary when he goes to a real team.
Player of the Rangers: Pack Line, Top 4 d-men, Hank.
The good: Beating teams we need to beat. Almost the whole line up.
The bad: Nothing that really stuck out.
The Redden: The first two periods. Not because we played bad but it was starting to get a little unbearable watching Vokoun make his best brick wall impersonation.
So great to see the Pack Line play like they are. Can't express how much I love it. Hank was a beast, and Gaborik looked really good today too IMO.

Yep. Not to get ahead of myself, but i'm looking more ahead at the No. 6 spot than worrying about what's behind us.
POTG has to be Vokoun. For NYR I'll say Cally, great set up for Dubinsky's goal
Another 2 huge points tonight. Now 7 wins in the last 8 and we stay 6 points ahead of Carolina. The less games to go the better at this point. Gotta keep winning though, no one else on the scoreboard wants to help.
This game had "Outplay and out shoot the other team only to lose 1-0" all over it, but they hung in there played solid D and displayed patience like a good team would.

Maybe not on Buffalo, but we've put distance between us and Carolina.
Just got in from work. Big time 2 points, now we pray Mtl-Buf doesn't go to OT. Listened to the game, the goal sounded like a good hard working effort-Figure thats obvious with that line-, cant wait to see it. Congrats Hank, 10 shutouts.

And unless Tampa pulls off a monster comeback against the Islanders they will lose. That makes them only 5 points ahead of the Rangers, though they have a game in hand.

I had that same feeling. This team would have lost this game about 3 weeks ago. They're starting to play really well at the right time.
Right now I'm not even sure where I want us to finish up in the standings. Capitals? We've dominated them this year but they're playing their best hockey all season. Plus, I don't think our regular season success will translate into the playoffs.
Flyers? IDK, I've never been a fan of facing the Flyers.
I guess I'd want us to face Boston. I feel like we can stick with them for a seven game set. Great goaltending and defense across the board, interesting to see how that would turn out.
Henk " I check the standings everyday, now" Lundqvist
POTG: The King
The good: Dubi, Cally and AA
The bad: Am I the only one who thought Sauer was a bit sloppy on his passing tonight?
The redden: 8 more games to be played. Wish this was #82. Heart's getting worn out
Everyone behind us won, pending Buffalo's result, which makes this a pretty big victory. We outplayed a team we should have outplayed, and were able to beat a hot goaltender minus our #1 dman.
