Lundqvist using a new mask?

Am I just seeing things or is Lundqvist using a new mask. I noticed it during the Sharks game. It's very similar to the one he started the year with but has a white base. I like it!

shiny and glittery...i was actually thinking before the game that he should think of adding something like that to his pads then i saw this helmet...pretty cool!

His mask popped off early in the game (in the first i think), dont know if perhaps the other one got broken and he had to use a back up.

Good point, I remember that now. I know he also uses a different mask for the heritage jersey games.

Looking at this picture you can see the mask on the ice, it's the same white one he was using.

Oh yeah, you're right. Seems i just got stumped, he he.
Who knows though, might be a way to try to change his bad luck with the recent
deflections...? Just a wild guess of course, but after them starting using the away shirts at home it seems there is quite a lot of superstition going on

I'm almost positive he used this mask this entire game, though. I have no idea. It's by far one of my favorite masks he's used so far. Last year's away mask was my favorite.

Short answer, yes. We would most definitely have missed the playoffs consecutively since 05/06, if not for Hank.

But yeah, Henrik has really been the glue that has kept us contending especially in the years after Jagr left.

This year we have been better overall but the two seasons before this have all been relative successes because of him. Without him in net we'd have been bottom feeders alongside the Islanders (and in all honestly, Henrik is what sets us apart from the Islanders in a lot of ways, especially the two seasons before this).

This has been the first year where our defense has actually given the guy some help in a lot of ways but that isn't to take anything away from what he brings to the team. It's just nice to actually have a reliable defensive pairing in Staal/Girardi and to a lesser extent McDonagh/Sauer.

We're talking about this Swedish dude, with whom most of New York fall in the most gay unconditional love.....and the only reason it's unconditional (were talking NY sports here) is because he hasn't given a chance to make it conditional.
The Rangers wouldn't be **** without the best goalie on the planet, ask any one between Hank and Richter. Excuse me. THE KING and Richter. Commentators everywhere call him the King, not just Sam and Joe. He was the King while JD was still here.

The new mask with the white base coat is obviously made to go with the away jerseys. Its hank, Mr. Handsome, what did you expect

I love it! I really like the sparkly glitter.

Daveart must've just added that to their site. I was looking for it last night.

Last year he switched to a white mask later in the season as well. That one also looked awesome.

Now if he only did something about the most ugly pads I think I've ever seen...and he's a fashion guy!

Something to match the helmet would be killer, kinda like the very first TPS Exceed he had.

I don't think that's the reason. We're winning because I haven't shaved since after the Anaheim game and haven't been active on our GDT's also since the Anaheim game. Superstitions are fun.
