Come on Habs... get a 8-1 game going on!!!! Ruin Thomas chances of Vezina... that's the least you can do for Price who saved your butt (so many times) and the season!!!!
Tim Thomas would be pulled way before giving up 8 goals, especially with the way Tuukka Rask has been playing of late.
I wonder who's going to come after White. I really doubt he can take Thornton or Lucic. He's tough and a decent fighter but at barely 200lbs and 6'0'', he's no heavyweight. Hopefully it's Horton or maybe Boychuk himself will try to fight his own battle and challenge White to a rematch. Nonetheless, we know there's a guarantee of at least one fight.

It won't be Boychuk, and if I was a betting girl, Id bet Boychuk sits tomorrow.
Horton has been running his mouth a lot lately, I wouldn't put it past him. But I hope he doesn't, for I don't think he'd fend well....(Sorry, Hort)
Lucic has more empty netter goals than fights this season, so I donubt it will be him. He's a "goal scorer" now so his fighting is minimal...
Thornton, maybe. Would be a good contest.
McQuaid is pretty banged up right now, I doubt he'll step in.
If the Habs can pull off a win on the road in Boston tomorrow night with such a depleted line up the Bruins should bow their heads in shame. This will be a very tough game for the Habs as will the game against the Caps on Saturday will be..
The Habs will be lucky if they can get a point out of the next 2 games and will probably struggle to score 1 goal again tomorrow night..

Ill go Thornton vs White.
Why on earth would the B's want their first line RW fighting a scrub like White?
It will likely be Thornton or nobody. Wouldn't surprise me at all if there are no fights and the B's just try to play a normal physical game like last night against NJ. Ordinarily, the B's seem to play at a higher level when the game is exceptionally gritty (see DAL), but that seems to work against them against MTL. Just play smart and skate hard and everything else will work itself out.
ps Size-wise...Campbell would be the best fit for White.

I didn't say we'd want him too? Not once.
AND I said I'd prefer he didn't.
Someone else in the thread said horton would look for a fight and I said I prefer he doesnt fight white.
Just to clarify....i dont want horton to fight white.

Actually Campbell is the first name I thought of. As I don't see White dropping the gloves with Thornton.
To be honest I really want to line up against Washington. I don't want to sit through the pain of the team losing enough games to make it happen, but a 7th place finish is my ideal situation for a few reasons.
Really? washington could be the hottest team in the league right, and their getting fantastic goaltending from Neuvirth...

How sweet would it be for White to beat the snot out of Colin Campbells kid!

Yeah forgot about Campbell. He's the same size as White, similar draft position, similar development path/production from AHL to NHL at same age. Wouldn't surprise me if White develops into a future Campbell-like 3rd/4th liner. Maybe a bit better offensively based on his junior numbers.
My bet is on Scott Gomez being next one to fall. I'll bet his choice words haven't been forgotten by Chara.
Now, who do we send to beat up Chara, if that's even possible? IF we had picked up DJ King, this wouldn't even be an issue.
I'm having a hard time taking anybody seriously who thinks that the Bruins are actually going to intentionally try to hurt any Habs players, particularly Subban or Gomez.
Even if you think that Chara intentionally hurt Pacioretty (which I think is ridiculous), do you really think that that BOS is going to go after another guy so soon?
I think they will wait until Game 2 of the playoffs at the very earliest...

I don't think any Bruins player is going to go out and try to intentionally hurt a Habs player. I think it's more there will be a few Habs players, that the Bruins will make sure to finish their checks against though.
Haha, that depends if you guys make it out of the 2nd round to play us.
