We're too clutch for these types of games. Bulldogs will win.

The Habs showed how they can neutralize the impact of the Bruins' forecheck in the last game. It was clear as day but it's been lost in all the scuttlebutt that followed that game.

The key is to have the forwards skating back hard enough and positioning themselves smartly so that the Habs' defensemen have clear pass options available when the Bruins dump the puck in. On most of the dump-ins, this should give the d-men a chance to move the puck almost on instinct, rather than having to search out an option or by trying to force a first pass into the neutral zone. When Price's puck playing ability was factored into this it was very difficult for guys like Lucic, Horton, Marchand, etc. to pressure, hit and wear down the Habs' d-men on puck retrieval.

One of Julien's weaknesses as a coach is his team's reliance on successful dump-ins as part of their attack. When this tool is taken away from the Bruins' offense, the only player that seems to be consistently dangerous carrying the puck into the zone is Krejci. If Krejci's carrying the puck into the zone, Lucic and Horton aren't able to throttle the defense. It's a pick-your-poison situation for the Bruins' top line.

Before the Chara/Pacioretty incident, the Habs were amazing in this respect last time these teams played. If they play the same way without the puck tomorrow and provide those short first pass options, they have a very good chance of coming away with a win.

No, Subban scores everything. Wait unless the Subban Hat trick is 5 goals?

Hmm I think a Subban's hat trick should be something like 3 goals, 1 assit, 1 Trash talk, 1 Fight, 1 Hit, 1 dive...all in the same game.

1 Goal
1 Assist
1 Dive

I agree, if we win 8-1 it will help Price to win the trophy... I hope they will convert the rage by playing 110% hockey.

Don't get why people are saying our D is weak, so that means Boston will beat us..

Um, it's the same roster that we had on March 8th.. and with the possibilities of Pleks and Halpern returning.. it'll be the same exact roster. Exaggeration much?

Oh my... RT @MurphysLaw74: Mark Recchi on @985TheSportsHub agreed with Michael Felger that Habs "embellished" Pacioretty's injury to get Chara suspended. http://deck.ly/~WWbzW

When a mature pro who's 40 says something like that it says a lot about an organization, who never ceases to surpass their idiocy.

Recchi left Montreal pissed and all, like Thornton left Boston and will never say anything good about them see like he did after the Chara incident. Couldn't care less about Mark Recchi and what he thinks!

Seriously how can someone embellish a fractured vertebra and being out cold on the ice? The IQ of that organization and it's fanbase is way below average..

I was having trouble with Recchi playing in Boston, as I respected him and liked him as a player.

Well that's down the toilet. Go **** yourself, Mark.

Hey Max go spend 2 days at the hospital so the NHL thinks it's serious and suspend Chara. Seriously Mark, think before you talk! Can't believe I cheered for a player like you at one point!

It's really something to see the lack of professional conduct out of the Bruins organization - Recchi making bizarre accusations here, Marchand's trash talk that game day, Shawn Thornton making derogatory references to "Frenchies" last year (not like he has any Franco teammates, either).

I'm actually happy the Canadiens organization focuses on hockey instead of that kind of unsportsmanlike nonsense.
