made the decision to NOT renew next year. this is a great team to watch, but being a season subscriber has turned into a burden

I was going to drop also, but I found out they'll be giving me $100 seats for $59 each because my 303 section will be closed for renovation. That eases the burden for me just enough to tip the scale in favor of renewing. Plus this year they're throwing in a free hotel room at Foxwoods and 10% off playoff tickets

Hi guys, me and some friends are coming down for the April 4th game against Boston.

If anyone has tix available PM me.

Just a question. Are there many scalpers outside before the game and are the tix usually legit?

Thanks in advance.

There are always scalpers, usually the tix are legit. Never buy print-outs, and always take a picture of the guy with your cell camera. If he says no you walk away

There are plenty of scalpers but many have counterfeit tickets. You are better off buying from this site,T/E, Stubhub or any other reputable site.

Selling one ticket to the Thursday game vs the Sens. Bought 5 tickets off stubhub but one of our members had something come up last minute.

Section 417, Row D, #19.

Just looking for $40. Paypal and email preferred, but I can also meet face to face for physical+cash before the game tomorrow.

I know this is mainly about people looking for or selling tickets, but I was wondering if anyone knows how playoff ticket advance orders work? I've never been to a playoff game at MSG, but I'll likely be in town for game 4 of a potential first round series. The only NHL playoff games I've ever gone to are where I live in Nashville and I've been able to get tickets a couple of days or the day before the game. I don't think I'll be able to do that for MSG. Any insight?

You're gonna have to buy em as soon as they go on sale. Every seat in the building is gonna be expensive though. Wouldn't surprise me to see that the cheapest in the building would be a tad higher than 100 after ticketmaster ripoff fees and whatnot. But yeah, buy em as soon as they go on sale because the only tickets that may be left would be the ridiculously overpriced lower bowl ones.

Do they go on sale right after the series schedules are announced? I tried finding some info and all I found was an article from 2 years ago. It sure looks that way, but I just want to be positive.

I wouldn't be shocked to see info announced about it in the next week or so. They'll try to sell of playoff packages first though since they're having problems selling tickets due to how overpriced they are. They'll probably start selling them that final week of the season. I wouldn't sweat it too much, you'll hear about when they go on sale.

Cool. I'm not overly concerned about the over-priced tickets. It's a first time experience for me and worth a little extra expense. When I was going to games often enough when I was in high school, the Rangers were missing the playoffs every year (I was a freshman in 1997-98). I moved to North Carolina in January '06 and of course, the Rangers make the playoffs. I'm just excited that a previously planned trip to NY looks like it's line right up with a home playoff game! My only worry is that it will be an afternoon game on that Saturday the 16th, as I'm not landing until 4pm!

I highly doubt they play Saturday the 16th. Playoffs usually start the Wednesday after the season ends which is the 13th so unless they do something stupid with the scheduling where they play games 1 and 2 on back to back nights on the 13th and 14th, the first home playoff game should be the 17th. That is unless the Rangers somehow get home ice advantage which isn't happening.

Definitely not upstairs but they may run into issues downstairs. Last year they were pushing playoff packages hard and I've never seen them do that. And now with the prices even higher this year, who knows. They'll definitely be sold out in the end I think it may just take a little longer for them to all sell.
