Is there any chance or possibility at all of seeing Schenn for the last few games or the playoffs? With Lokti out, there aren't a lot of good options left at forward in Manchester if we get more injuries. I would take Schenn over Cliche, Holloway, Elkins, etc.
I know DL might say its not a good idea, but what do you guys think?
Nah he can join the Kings now once his team is eliminated because he completed all of his junior years. He is AHL eligible once his season is done to join the Monarchs in the playoffs and then can join the Kings from there if we make it far or need him. It just depends on when the Blades get kicked out.

Oh ok, so any player who's done with his junior eligibility could join his NHL team for the playoffs? Didn't know that before, thanks.
Wow.. so hypothetically, Schenn can play for us and it wouldn't count against his 8 games in the NHL? I'm guessing it would though, so he plays one more game and then his ELC kicks in? Is that right or would that 9 game rule not apply to this situation?

I'm not sure about that, but P. K. Subban played almost all of the playoffs last year for Montreal and is still somehow counted as a rookie this year .....in terms of points, he's been the most successful rookie defenseman the Habs have ever had. Was it participating in last season's playoffs that lead to his incredible current season? Who knows.
Given the above, I would not be opposed to having Schenn for the entire playoffs. After all, I do believe Lombardi had a plan when, after the trade deadline, we still had around $4 million in cap space! (I.e., he was intentionally saving room for Schenn!)

If, Stoll or Zeus go down in the next 9 games then it would make sense to play Schenn. But it would suck to have a year knocked off his ELC espedcially if we are eliminated early.
Yeah, for sure, it wouldn't make sense to bring up Schenn unless Handzus or Stoll were hurt.. Ugh, can't believe we're already talking about playoffs.. Playoffs?!?! Playoffs?!?! *Jim Mora voice*.. There's still a long way to go boys
