Thanks, MSE. Heavens, that's all we need. Perhaps Carter should be shut down and put in bubble wrap until the playoffs. Even for the first couple of games of the first series.

Strong effort from the start. Not like the Washington game. Bob, clean slate, play a good game.

Carter's actions here seriously annoyed the crap out of me. He got dumped in the crease in the offensive zone, gets mad, and goes to lay a huge hit on the nearest Penguin. What happens? He ends up hurting himself.

I cannot stand when players seek out revenge-hits and end up injuring themselves or taking a penalty.

Carter needs to learn how to throw a body check properly before attempting that again.

I hope BOB shines tonight, as I truly believe its his last and final chance to be our playoff starter. That kills me to say that, since I've been a huge fan of him the second they made the announcement of signing him.
There are still 9 games left - plenty of time for Bobrovsky to pull his head out of his ass. Boucher certainly didn't impress anybody in relief the other night. I just hope we don't wind up with "the goalie that sucks less than the other" to start the playoffs.

Looking through some of those old videos - I almost forgot what a ***** of a diver Lemieux was. Granted the guy did take tons of abuse and was one of the greatest players ever - however - he was a whiny ***** then and is a whiny ***** now just like that little twot that lives in his basement.

They will never shut up... I can see the quotes now:

"Crosby and Malkin weren't playing, how do you expect us to score goals?"
"Matt Cooke wasn't there on the PK, we had no chance of stopping you."
"Fluery just had an off day, next time he will shut you out."
"You guys goon'd your way through that game!"

Unlike many others, bandwagoner Pens fans (at least in my experience) don't seem to shut up even after a loss.

I thought he played well... He only gave up one goal. Im not gonna get upset because he sucks in the shootout.

Well, seems I have a decision to make.

In my fridge I have 3 beers. Leffe, Newcastle Brown, and original Coors.

I have been on an original Coors kick for the last month and a half to two months.
So, it's been the beer I've been drinking since we started struggling.

Now, the last time I bought Newcastle was the beginning of the season when we started strong. It was my drink on opening night in scumburgh when we beat the dodos.

Now, I bought Leffe but never drank it during a Flyers game yet and tonight we play scumburgh yet again.

Guys......what's my drink for tonight?

Of course, I could always go with vino.

Decisions, decisions.

Awesome as usual MSE. Going out on a limb here and hope i'm wrong, but I think if bob craps the bed tonight then it all but cements boucher as the playoff goalie. Hopefully if he plays well enough it'll put him ahead of boosh tho

OK that's 1 vote for Leffe and 1 for Newcastle.

If it remains a tie then Newcastle wins out because the Flyers haven't lost when I drink it and watch them this year.
