Yeah, but he should play like that for 60 minutes. Not 40 or 20.

Oh, I read, the Rangers HF board. Sorry, cos no, he's not. But he's real good. I've read the Senators threads including him, one was: "Is Spezza or Karlsson the best offenive player"...

But I do think he'll end up being a top ten defensemen some years from now.

Lundqvist made pretty routine saves, only a few of which were game savers
Team scored one goal. "A few" game saving saves is huge. With our abysmal offensive effort, we easily could have come away with no points. Henke made big saves down the stretch to lead us to OT, stopped a breakaway in OT, and stopped the first 4 in the SO. He did pretty much all you could ask.

Gabs had a strong game, but at the end of the day had nothing to show for it. His job is to score, and he didn't. That's okay, he can't score every game. But not enough to win a POTG. Not backchecking hard directly lead to the Sens goal, too.

Anyway, I don't really care either.

Not their best effort. Lucky to get the point.
Staal very nice effort on the pass to Prust. Wish we saw that same effort by the team in the first two periods.
Prust with a nice snipe. How can you not like the guy. Even his girlfriend forgave his loose lips after that shot.

The Good: 1.Erik Karlson will be another late pick out of left field in my fantasy draft next year.

2. Someone else acknowledging how good a broadcast team Rangers fans have. They're not perfect but try listening to 95% of the rest of the league. I hadda deal with the guys in DC for 3.5 years

The Bad: Rangers playing the background dancers in Michael Jackson's "Thriller" for 2/3s of the game.

The Redden: Garden ice and composite sticks.

Avery's definitely back in Saturday. It's a matter of who sits now. Candidates I would say are E.C., MZA, and Wolski.

so is it just a coincidence that christensen's missed every shot since biron's been out?

I think they need biron to come down from the pressbox to do his shootout coach duties.

Henke has a career 1.94 GAA against the Sens and only a 10-11-1 record

POTG: The only player who to me looked faultless. HL.

Good: Gaborik looks like a hockey player again, even with his egregious mistake. Cally and Dubi were okay, nothing special at all.

Bad: Really mediocre effort overall. I'm kissing the point and erasing this underachievement of a game from memory.

The Redden: Not capitalizing on a good chance. Torts' fault? I dunno, don't think so. EC had bad body language waiting for his chance in the shootout. I knew he wouldn't score. Easy time for Anderson all around in SO.

Just have him call Acacio Marques or Jim Ramsay or send a TXT message.

Zuccarello needs to sit for a game. Or more. I know it might irritate the hell out of his cult following, but

a. He doesn't bring physicality
b. He still is not a reliable 2 way forward
c. He isn't producing many points
d. Its simply his turn. Wolski and EC have had their sittings.

Give Avery another game here, lets see what he can bring against his good bud Tim Thomas. In any case, we just need to try to ice the best possible lineup we can going into the playoffs.

I learned this last year watching Center Ice Online. For some hilarious reason, the Rangers broadcast was NEVER shown, and I had to deal with the crap every other pair of announcers spew. Sam and Joe are way better then most, and I will always defend them.

Hank gets the POTG from me.

There haven't been many games where I felt this way, but pretty much everybody had issues today. Cally was even off, as was the Sauer-McD pairing.

Inexcusable. Ottawa is trash. 2 points or GTFO.

We've been playing well, so we gotta get back on the horse and make it 6 of 7 just like that.
