I would have been so pissed if we lost that game and I still can't believe that we went to a SO. I really hope that doesn't come back to haunt us.

Brown... what a beast.

Terry Murray - when you've got a guy who scored two goals in the game, put him as one of the first three shooters in the shootout. It's almost criminal that he went 5th.

Anyhoo... GREAT WIN! Points are points! Take 'em however you can.

Must wins coming up against Colorado and Edmonton. Two teams that are just giving points away right now.

Seriously... His shootouts are identical to Kovalchuk's, if only he did that in regulation and not just in shootouts.

We'll see how Moller looks in game five of this call up.
Penner said himself the Kings system is basically the same as what he came from.

DP and AK have been looked lethargic lately, and that's not TM's fault.

But he has a perfect option who is only 1 for 10 in his career in Penner. The wrong Dustin took to the ice, I wonder if there was a mishap with communication there

duh

Anyone want to call for stripping Brown's C tonight? Very happy to seem him get the success. And the team played well missing Williams.

I was baffled by his decision to use Penner. DP is awful in shoot outs (1 of 10), AND he was having a bad game. That made no sense.

It's not Murray's fault that Penner missed. He was do for a goal.

Has anyone counted the number of goals given up within three minutes this season?

I think I am done with TM as well. Not using Stoll on that Face off that cost us the win in Reg is unacceptable. What if that had been a playoff game.

Should have ended in regulation. Kopitar actually won the face-off and the Sharks immediately jump on it. It happens sometimes..

Brown continues to be a force out there, just another nice game tonight.

Oscar Moller looked good in his last call up and looked good again tonight. I still consider him a prospect -- still have him in high regard -- and it's nice to see him come around this season.

Meh, Sharks fans complaining about the shootout. It's stupid. We could just ***** about how there shouldn't be any loser points and that only wins matter.

We outplayed them and we should have won in regulation, but at least Quick and Stoll came up big in the shootout.

I really don't care. We play better on away ice anyway. I really want that #4/#5 matchup with Phoenix or Nashville. Even the Sharks would be okay.
This, this, and this!

Figured I'd take a shot at Smyth (who honestly I thought was a little better tonight), but compliment a defensive defensemen. Last 20 games:

Smyth 1g 5a +/- -11
Mitchell 4g 0a +/- +2

Who's gonna score more points the rest of the way??!!!!

He did it earlier with Williams in Montreal who was having a hell of a game - I think he also went 5th (maybe 4th). It worked out (and did with Williams as well). Bizarre, but whatever. We got the points and screwed teams below us in the process.

Problem is all these shootout wins are gonna **** us over in seeding if we get in
we already lose the tiebreaker to pretty much every team, so we may aswell keep winning the shootouts

Jesus at all the people crying about shootouts. News flash, a team with 50 wins, all in shootouts, finishes ahead of a team with 49 regulation wins. The shootout rule is not going to matter
