I thought it was really good, especially after the controversy with the Boyle goal, whether Quickie touched it or not, we didn’t let it get to us and came through with the win."

It’s unfortunate, the way we finished up regulation. Obviously we’re trying to make a push, and that’s a team that we want to jump in the standings and try to win the Pacific Division here. They sneak a point out of it, and I think we outplayed them for a majority of the game and we played a solid game as a team. At the end of the day, we got two points and you can’t complain about that."

We would certainly love to have it shut down, when you have a faceoff at the offensive blue line, offside dot with 11 seconds left. You’d like to feel that you can do that every time, but things do happen. They’ve got some very good players and they came, they just rushed us with five, six guys and got the bounce that they needed."

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the Teal bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

Love the Westy photos. And to all the Westy haters, look at how inept Montreal looked last night against Boston. On ESPN's Lebrun chat, someone pointed that Chara could have killed any 2 Habs at the same time if they tried to send a physical message. Lebrun agreed...

Classic trap game.

Btw, I have a hard time believing that the Avs have lost over 1 million man games to injury.

These are the games that concern me, ones where the Kings are expected to put away but can't.

Avalanche and Oilers. We need to take advantage of these teams and get our points. After this the schedule becomes very tough and down to the wire. If we create a buffer here, it could be a life saver in the final handful. Just win. GO KINGS!

Interesting Quote from Hammond:

Quote:
– The Kings have a 42-26-6 record, the exact same record they had after 74 games last season. After their 74th game last season, the Kings were in seventh place in the West, seven points ahead of ninth-place Calgary. Now they’re in fifth place, four points ahead of ninth-place Dallas.
http://lakingsinsider.com/2011/03/25...otes-march-24/

Didn't realize we are that close in line with last year's run.

Bernier should be starting one of the next two games.

After what happened with STL and NYI, I think the Kings will avoid falling into this trap.

5-2 LA

Quick will start tomorrow. I hope all these tight games are not wearing him down.

Terry said Bernier will either play against Vancouver(yeah right) or Edmonton.

He's at 54 games played so far. He played 72 regular season games last year. He'll probably start 5-6 of the final 8, which would put him right at 60 games. He should be in good shape.

I've brought my nephew to about 8 games over the last couple of seasons. He has yet to see a win.

I'm taking him to tomorrow's game. Sorry guys, the trap just got scarier.

The Avs have given up less than 2 goals in several or their last games and love their new goalie.

If we don't treat this game like another playoff game we will lose it.

Aside from that

I really like our chances against this team

I give us a good shot

Go Kings Go!!!
