Stoll's 8 goals this year is 2 behind the record of Jokinen and Wolski who had 10 in past seasons.

Stoll's current 88.9% would break the record for best % in a season. Current record is held by Petteri Nummelin at 85.7%. 5 shot minimum required.

Quick has the 2nd highest winning percentage (75%) of all-time goalies who have had at least 10 shoot-outs. Marc Denis is #1 at 8-10 for 80%. Lame.

Quick's 9 straight wins is the 2nd longest win streak of all-time. Garon holds the record at 13.

Quick needs 1 more win to tie a couple other goalies for most SO wins in a season at 10.

The Kings are 2nd most successful team in SO% all-time at 37.84%. NJ is #1 at 39.64%

I would like shoot outs more if they happened less often.

I think we can all agree that 4 on 4 OT hockey is awesome though. I'd be favor of a 10 minute 4 on 4 OT, and getting rid of the shoot out.

I love the shootout *this year* cause lets face it: we'd be in 10th or 11th without it.

Not sure how the tie-breaker would work with Dallas, but if you're going by goal differential, the Kings would still be in the playoff race without the shootout.

winning percentage is first. so we'd be in 9th.

for now, the first tie-breaker is GP, After that it would be head-to-head points. If memory serves the Kings are 3-1-1, and Dallas is 2-3-0.
