They are hit and miss. When they are on though they can hang with anyone.

Right, I think blazer will have them ready to go...

I'm actually picking them to beat Mich and give BC some trouble, but I think BC will prevail..

I wish Cornell had made the tourney, but they got destroyed by Yale and there was no way they were getting an at-large bid.

CC has some heavy firepower up front (J Schwartz is an absolutely filthy player), but I'm not sold on their tending at all..

I'd actually like the devs to give Schultz a look. Could be a late bloomer...

I'm not sure whether I should feel good about that possibility, seeing as how they just beat Denver, or nervous because of how close that game was. It'd definitely be an interesting rematch.

Other than the Sioux, I'll be pulling for Michigan, Miami (OH), and UMD. I'd rather not have to go through BC again, seeing as how they own UND of late.

Gonna root for Miami-OH this tourney, was pretty heartbreaking for them when they lost to BU in OT a year (or two?) ago.

Patrick Eaves (Hockey East player of the year/1st team All-American/1st round pick)
Cory Schneider (1st team All American/Career: 66-26-7 2.09 GAA, .925 SV%)
Nathan Gerbe (Frozen Four MVP/Hobey Hat Trick finalist)
Nick Petrecki (1st round pick)

add Krys Kolanos (1st round pick/2nd team All-American/you might remember him)

How is that weak? You are all over the map on this one. First, I was not using a big enough sample size with 25 YEARS and now your argument is that UND might have won a national championship six years ago? FWIW, all I was trying to do in the first place was get a rise out of the North Dakota fans who read this thread (clearly I was successful in at least one instance). The Sioux obviously have an awesome program. They're like the BC of the west...

UNO and Air Force almost pulled out upsets today. And right now CC is up 3-1 on BC in the first period.

Make that 7-2. This is a good old fashioned ass whooping.

CC has been very good and BC has been very bad...barring any ugliness in the 3rd, I'll be pulling for CC the rest of the way

I'm just glad UND won't have to go up against BC at all in the tournament (barring a miraculous comeback). Not that the rest of the teams are pushovers by any means, but we all know how much BC has owned them recently.

Pretty good start for the WCHA teams in the tournament. UMD and most likely CC moving on, UNO taking Michigan to OT (and losing on a questionable call).

The Midwest regional should be a good one. I am interested to see if either UND or DU looks past their quarterfinal opponents.

I'm watching the games on ESPNU. I don't know how I'm going to catch the UND/RPI game tomorrow though. My cable package doesn't have live broadcasts of the Midwest regionals Saturday, just replays of them starting Sunday morning.

Never mind, I see it'll be on ESPN3.com. Which I now see my cable company doesn't provide. Great.

I am starting to love ESPN3.com as it carries my second favorite sport, auto racing (I love the American LeMans Series). My son won't go to sleep and is watching "Bubble Guppies"...if you have to ask you don't want to know. Hopefully in a few years all tv will be on the internet.

Thanks.

UNH plays at 4 today. I'll be at work so I'll DVR this one and watch it the second I get home.
