MARCH SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

It was an important game for us. We needed the two points, and we didn’t have the effort we needed.
It is a tough one, but we need to put it behind us.
- Ryan Callahan

Hopefully, facing a much better team on Saturday, we'll come with more energy. It should be easier to get going against them.
It better be, because these games are all so serious for us.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We stole a point. We haven’t played without energy many times this year. Tonight everybody did.
Even in the shootout we didn’t look right. So we take the point, stuff it in our back pockets, and move by this.
- John Tortorella

I'd expect Aves to be in tomorrow. Hopefully he comes back fiery like he did last year after being scratched in March.

Get a win Blueshirts, LGR.

Nothing was confirmed at practice today, but I think he'll play too.

1 point would be good. 2 would be gravy.

Because nobody is losing below them, a point is a must. Two points would be better.

If Avery might be in, then Im guessing either Zucca or Wolskii are out? Neither have been playing great lately.

I'd say those two and E.C. are candidates though I doubt Christensen sits based on this quote today from Torts at the morning skate.

AGrossRecord Andrew Gross
Torts does say, in his mind, the Prospal-Christensen-Gaborik line is a line he wants to work and he's trying to make it work.

I have to get up at 1? Boo.

Go Rags. Gotta get 2 here to make up for leaving 1 on the table against the Sens.

Yep. Asking me to wake up before like 2:00 PM on a Saturday is quite the request. Only for the Rangers.

Based on the likelihood of this going to a shootout(How many 1-0 games have we seen against the B's in the past 3 years?), it'll be interesting to see how many of our "shootout specialists" stay in the lineup, especially after last night's display...

Hopefully Boston is emotionally drained from the Habs game and come out flat. Get the two points.

If based soley on shootout then all 3 should be in the line-up. Just don't let them sit for a whole period before you ask them to 'perform' and then blame them because they don't win. Do you have any idea what happens to an athlete when they sit for for 30-40 minutes after 2 periods of regular shifts?

I very much agree. It is not a coincidence that all three missed on ther penalites. They had all been sitting for the most of third and OT, and came out to shoot entirely cold.

Looking forward to this game. I am surprised there is not a thread talking about a group of Rangers fans going, because the Rangers always have a ton of fans in Boston.

What makes me proud a Ranger fan is how when we go into Boston we have 3,000 or more fans, and yet when the Bruins are in MSG they have 750 max. Tells me we clearly have the better fanbase than those frontrunners who laughed at the NHL pre-2008!

Hoping for a good game against you guys tomorrow, Bruins have been known for let-down games after emotional wins like thursday. Plus, we pretty much play like **** on all afternoon games.

How longs Frolov been out? just had my ACL done about 20 days ago

Frolov's been out since early January, but it's not like he's a big loss.

I don't expect a win here, which is why they needed two from Ottawa. Hopefully they'll surprise us.

Avery will probably be in.

Feeling good about this one, we match-up pretty well with Boston. Hopefully Avery comes in for Zucc too.
