if we miss the playoffs we need a strait up rebuild. Yes we have been absolutely crippled by injury, but being shutout 3 games in a row is inexcusable.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, When will they fire this coach!
MArtin is horrible!

He had a line that worked well in Moen Eller Kostitysn and he dismantled it, He chased Sergei Kostitsyn of of town (20 goals with the Predators) with suffocating style of hockey.

He's got some creative players at his disposal and he's forcing them to play the trap!

It would almost be worth Montreal missing the payoffs if it meant Martin would get fired!

hahaha sad but true.

Pretty freaking horrible week and no we are certainly not assured of making the playoffs if we don't win at least 3 out of 5 we maybe won't make the playoffs.

I'm really depressed right now, feel like my cat died what a horrible display out there it's painfull to watch the habs. Still hoping we are winning the cup (delusional fan) but those hopes are getting low right now.

The caps played a pretty average game but manage to get the win it was really easy for them tonight we didn't do nothing to bother them in any way.

To the players on the ice: you haven't clinched a playoff spot yet. Get to it FFS.

Cue JM's comments in his post game news conference saying "it wasn't so much about lack of emotion or urgency but more a lack of execution"..

We should have known bad things will happen when Pyatt scored in Minny.

The paychecks... They don't need to play hard until their contracts are up, right?

I think Martin should start fearing for his job, it's not all on him but a good part of the problem seems to be on him.

If we're out of the playoffs, and we still get the 14th overall pick, I doubt Zibanejad will still be on the board.

Sorry some this is definitely on the coaches.

Subban getting less PP time then Hammer and Wiz is ridiculous.

Eller barely getting ice time when he has been the best forward is crazy.

Why bother playing Darche or using him on the PP if he is only gonna get 8 minutes a game.

The team didn't look ready to play either as the bumbled and fumbled with the puck through the first period.

This is one big crap fest from the coaches on down.

I love how some posters on here relegate this team's problems onto Gomez. Seriously, are you people no better than picking a scapegoat and pinning everything on him? I guess not.

Nobody is doing anything well right now. NOBODY. Everyone is to blame for this mess as much as the next guy. This isn't Gomez's fault, nor Cammy's, nor Gio's, not Plek's. The entire team is failing right now and they all deserve to bare the brunt of the blame.

It's not JM who's missing wide open nets, easy passes and always shoots risters from the blue line...

We don't have a talented team, period.

...but I admit the dump in is pretty ridiculous with all the smurfs we have...

worst player on the ice tonight ? Plekanec...and by far. His worst game in career IMO.

And the idea of using Pleks at the point instead of Subban is pure idiocy.
