There's a list of NHL draftees in the tournament. We are the only team with no prospects in this.

My Frozen Four was Yale, Michigan, Notre Dame, and North Dakota. Yale is already out and Notre Dame is losing right now. So glad BC got knocked out. And Jaden Schwartz is intense. Kid has incredible vision.

My bracket record is 6-2 but I had Boston College winning it all. I had Minne-Duluth coming out of that region.

Notre Dame beats Merrimack in OT.

Notre Dame vs. UNH, winner to the Frozen Four.

Just got in. UNH totally deserved the win. they were the better team especially in the 3rd period. that pass from Kessel to Sislo was just freakin awesome.
I am not impressed with Notre Dame. They were incredibly lucky to win tonight. lucky goal to tie it and a even more lucky goal in OT to win it. Feel bad for Merrimack. They did everything but score in OT. the puck didnt bounce for them at all. They controlled the entire OT then Notre Dame gets the lucky break and wins.
If UNH plays they way they did against Miami they are headed to St. Paul.

What was your impression of Da Costa?

i think he holds on to the puck too much and tries to force things. A couple of times he came across the middle trying to be cute with the puck and had it taken off his stick. He tries things that will get him knocked on his ass at the pro level.
He looked pretty soft to me last night, but he does have good speed and is a very solid skater, and his hands are solid. At times you could see why pro scouts are raving about this kids ability.
He is on the PK for Merrimack and is a good defensive player. had a primary assist on a short handed goal that was nice.
I am not sure if he is going to come out of college or not, but i think he needs a year or so in the AHL. Its going to take some time for him to get used to the physical game.

Boston College's Cam Atkinson signs with Columbus. A 6th round pick in 2008.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/hocke...3308507_x.htm#

Quote:
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed Boston College forward Cam Atkinson to a two-year, entry-level contract.

Columbus General Manager Scott Howson announced the move Sunday.

The 21-year-old forward from Connecticut logged 31 goals and 21 assists in 39 games this year during his junior season with Boston College, which won the national championship last year.

I've read we're the frontrunners for Da Costa. I'm hoping the contract isn't anything like Bozak's, for example, because he just isn't worth that IMO.

With no bonus cushion next season, I don't see how the Flyers could fit a $2M+ cap hit in unless they are letting Leino go.

UNH deserved to lose tonight. they played like garbage. Very disapointed in the effort by Paul Thompson. He was a no show. Mike Sislo was fantastic this weekend.
I had no visions of Notre Dame coming out the bracket this weekend. They didnt play that great and still advanced.

I have 1 of my predicted Frozen Four teams left, and it's NoDak. I thought Notre Dame would lose in the first round. I won't be angry if any of the remaining teams win it though, so that's an upgrade over last year.

And ESPN3, woo. Hopefully I'll be out of work by then though so I won't need that.

The head coach of Minnesota-Duluth played briefly for the Flyers...broke his arm during a game.
