Gotta bring it tonight. We can use all the points we can get if PIT wins this afternoon.

Thomas is expected to be in net for us.

Also, Shane Hnidy is a healthy scratch, he has been cleared to play.

As someone said before, flip Ryder and Marchand and the lineup for us is correct.

Here's for a hard fought, clean game.

I know the feeling man! I got my low profile tires slashed and also my mom's Ford Expedition tires slashed while I was borrowing it overnight. Good thing the insurance company paid the $2500 bill for new tires.

Yeah, ****'s weak. My insurance won't cover it (I have the legal minimum which basically covers nothing).

No idea. I don't even know anyone in the city I live in. I park next to a bar so all I can think of is a drunk guy did it because he had a bad night. Probably not going to renew my parking lease at the end of the month...

Yeah, the legal requirements for insurance only covers your liability to others, not damages to your stuff.

As far as random tire slashings, that sucks.

MSE, I love the education I can get from your GDT's. Stellar, as usual.
I can't watch that 7 minute - final seconds/post game - video without getting choked up. Especially when they interview Gagne. Siiigh.

Let's do this tonight boys!

The Sixers game like just ended apparently. So, I wonder if there will be some sort of delay. Not sure how long it takes for the change over.

They do it in a couple hours, shouldn't be a problem.

Ice may be crappy tonight, though.

There always was a bit of that in their approach even before they suffered all the injuries. Only at the obvious times to employ that tactic though.

EDIT: If they do win this one it is going to be a hard fought win. Outside of the Capitals game haven't been fighting for **** lately, and if that trend continues Boston is going to smack them in the mouth tonight.

I'm sure they'll play a great game today. But when adversity strikes in the postseason or when they are in a race in the regular season, the Bruins go away.

March 3rd, the Bruins were the 2 seed, 3 points back of the Flyers. In the race. They then proceeded to lose 5 of 6 to the Habs, Sabres, Isles, Predators, and Leafs to promptly fall out of the race.

And we don't even have to talk about the epic collapse in the playoffs last year, do we?

The Bruins do enough in the regular season to look like a good team, but they will be done in the 2nd round same as ever.

you sound like a bitter Bruins fan! You'd fit right in over at our boards

It's because I live here. So sick of dealing with this Habs-Bruins "rivalry". I mean, come on, that's like calling Walmart vs local retailers a rivalry. The fans hate each other and the sports media stokes that hate, but it's not a real sports rivalry. The only way either of the Habs and Bruins go to the second round is if they play each other, and one of them has to advance.

I actually think Boston is one of the three most likely teams to get out of the East. What makes you think they aren't likely to get out of the first round?
