Former RPI goalie Allen York has gone pro, signing a 2 year ELC with the CBJ. Very happy about this, a good goalie prospect is something we badly needed in the pipeline.
I'm glad he's coming out early, since RPI doesn't play against the best competition and the sooner he can get acclimated to the pro game, the better.
It's too much to ask him to be the replacement for Mason, but the Jackets need their goalie pipeline constantly churning out quality prospects and hopefully one will pan out.
