ya most of the time PK is trying to roll off the hit. maybe slight embelishment this time, but i agree with baseball coach, that's pretty much how i would have tried to land it.

seeing as the play happened right at the blueline there is no reason for a linesman to miss it. The officials must've been in full out coast mode.

I caught it during the game. I was yelling at the TV to stop doing stupid ********. Same as the dumb high sticking penalty late in the Buffalo game a few months ago.

For a veteran player, Gomez seems to go out of his way to draw selfish penalties at the worst time.

I really hope it could spark him, I mean I won't say he is playing great hockey but you can see the last 2-3 games he has been one of our best forwards. Keep it up Gomez, you will quickly be cheered in this city if you play great hockey(look at Price last year and this year)

I was at the Bruins game last night and saw on twitter that Hamrlik scored. Needless to say I was PUMPED and the people around me were less than thrilled.

Yay, Roman.

I know he's not to much of a fan favorite around here, but he's among my favorite habs! Just wanted to share the Hamrlik love for a minute.

This writer is quickly becoming my favorite. He reports Gomez's story and success of his effort's last night but doesn't let him off the hook for the past season. Well balanced story. His approach of praise offset by criticism makes for a fair article.

It's ok, you can stop pretending to be a Bruins fan now, nobody's watching.

Haha I was trying to be neutral but now that you mentioned it, I REALLY wanted Roman to score, but the Habs still to lose. That would have been a perfect night. I am NOT a habs fans, it just so happens that i like a mere.....(seven)....of your players.

I am still wondering why PK gets 20 seconds of TOI during each PP. He's our man with the highest number of points of 2011! We were in a goalless slump!

I don't care about "not disciplined" and all. In a goalless slump, your main priority is to generate goals, not to rein in your best offensive elements because he DARED getting a Hat Trick a week ago!

It's ok, that's how it starts. Soon enough you'll want 15 players in the team to score in the same game but still hope the team loses. Then you'll wish for the goalie to have a shut-out but still hope the team loses. Then you'll just realize it can't happen and just wish for the Habs to win. You've started the process, there's no turning back, you'll be getting assimilated. Might as well get ahead and buy a Habs flag for the playoffs.

It's all right. Some of us knows where you really stand on the issue...

I knew you'd be happy to see Roman break our slump. Won't help his Tic, now, will it?

Seriously I have a really hard time understanding PK's use. The guy gets a hat-trick and it seemed to insult Martin or something. It's like "wo, woooo, you're not supposed to score that much on our team, work on your defense more!". PK had improved a lot on the PP since a while (he did kinda suck on it early in the season) and yet he just stopped being used there nearly entirely. It just makes no sense.

Nope, just seven.

I will cheer for the habs IF and ONLY if you guys ever take McQuaid. Thats when I will cheer for you. But that is the only way.

Or if I marry Roman.....

But thats different....

This is OT, but that avatar (is that the B's Template?) is hilarious on so many levels... I think our fanbase asked for it.

Looks awesome.

I don't know if that would be possible, he may already be spoken for.

Spacek on the other hand seems like a fun, happy go lucky sort who would probably be up for anything. You could arrange the ceremony while we arrange to welcome you full time into Habdom

That works out well for all involved, right? If not, there's always Gill...
