Hall (ankle) plans on playing in the world championships, according to the Edmonton Journal.
Hall is out for the rest of the season due to a high ankle sprain. The original prognosis was that the injury would take eight weeks to heal. Eight weeks takes Hall to April 26, which would be three days before the WHC is set to take place. The question is whether or not the Oilers want Hall to play or would rather him rest up for the start of the 2011 season.

I personally think it would be a great experience and boost for Hall's morale to play in the World Championships. For him and Eberle both.
I agree. It'd be nice for Hall to meet some Canadian vets from around the league and most likely do some damage with Ebs. Hall needs to win something gold for Canada too since he missed out at the WJHC.
Of course he needs to be 100%, no use risking further injury.
Not unless they're trying to dive for some World Championship draft. Whatever that would be.
David Staples had an article on how the Russians wanted Bulin as they didn't have many other options, but the problem is Bulin quit playing in the Worlds a few years back. That and now Nabokov is suddenly available.
As for Oilers, I'd add Gibert's name to the list for potential guys to make it.
“I wouldn’t be prepared and it wouldn’t be fair to myself or the team,” Hall told the Edmonton Journal. “There’s probably some other guy out there who’s played the whole season, who’s more equipped to play.”
Hall is just being a good pro and saying the right thing for the situation. If Team Canada comes calling I highly doubt he would decline if he's healed up by then.
