Terrible idea! Put Wolski with Gaborik and Stepan so he can fully focus on offense. Drop Prospal down to 4th line center with avery and zucca, and put EC in the pressbox with gilroy.

Wolski Stepan Gaborik
Dubinsky Ani Cally
Feds Boyle Prust
Avery Prospal Zucca

those would be my lines for tonight.

Christensen stays in, unless Tortorella is willing to move Prospal to center again.

Wolski, Avery, and Zuccarello are the interchangeable parts right now. None of them play the PK, and they are each 4th line wingers at this juncture as far as TOI is concerned.

I think a major issue with the (non)-production with Wolski/Zucc is the center. We have 3 functioning centers right now - AA, BB, D-step. If we had another one then the wingers would be freed up and wouldnt struggle as much.

I just think its a terrible idea. Wolski hasnt done much because hes playing 4th line minutes with ****** offensive players and soley focusing on defense. You need to put him in a situation to play a ton of offense. Put him with Stepan and Gaborik. You instantly add speed and more offensive creativity and goal scoring.

Move prospal down to the line of avery and either EC or Zucca and there you go. Prospal has been USELESS on the 1st line and cant keep up with the play anymore. Constantly late getting into the zone, never there on the forecheck and ALWAYS looks to pass bc he cant shoot.

Hoping for a good game tonight if the power stays on here. The Tampa area has been getting POUNDED all day by wicked rains and thunder and lightning. Powers been going on and off.

I think Montoya will get the nod tonight, since DP started last night.

The good news for you guys is that Grabner is OUT
The good news for us, is that DP isn't playing tonight.

Good luck and I hope we give you a better game than last time. (Maybe even pull out a win?)

So with the Rangers playing their long time rival, who would like nothing better than to do their part to ensure that no local teams are represented in the playoffs, the question on every Ranger fan's mind has to be ..... where is the hell is Loffen?

I agree that Vinny is noticeably slower since his return...but given his point production in March those passes seem to be working. Of course, no one is getting a lot of points over the last few games...but that is a general problem for everyone on the team right now, not just Vinny

Glad to see Zuccarello back in. But why at the expense of Wolski? Seriously why does EC get so many chances.

I do not know. To be completely honest, i wish Drury could take fourth line minutes in the playoffs over EC. Then I would play Zuc over Avery, for two reasons. We need to get the youngsters some PO experience, and i really don't want Avery to **** up our chances again, like he did against the Capitals a couple years ago.

MUST WIN

Not sure why Wolski is getting the bench over Christensen, Prospal has been taking faceoffs and would be useful at the center position.

Torts needs to stop robbing other lines to try and get Gabby going...

Dubi - AA - Cally
Wolski - Stepan - Zuccarello
Avery - Prospal - Gaborik
Fedotenko - Boyle - Prust

The three lines that have clicked all year, and Avery and Gaborik have been good enough together.

But what do I know?

Just ****ing win tonight...please

LETS GO RANGERS

I'm going to say it's because you've got a dramatically different set of expectations for each, but pretty much the same performance from both lately.

Also. Who would center the fourth line? As long as Torts wants to keep the top two lines intact, Christensen is a given as the fourth line center.

My guess is they'll roll three lines tonight and none of the fourth liners will see double digit minutes in even play.

Big game since it SHOULD be 2 points. A loss here and were biting our nails all the way to the Devs game. A win and we can take a breath.
