McDonagh at #50 while he's a +18 and logging 20+ minutes in the NHL on a playoff team...

I wouldn't read too much into the rankings or take to much stock in them.

McDonagh was ranked at #50. Seeing how they make the rankings based off of each individual teams top 20 prospects, the only other Ranger that will be on the list is Kreider. McDonagh was ranked as the Rangers #2 prospect.

At this point i don't even consider McD a prospect. He is part of this team and will be for a long time.

Regardless, wouldn't invest to much of yourself into those rankings.

Apparently playing well in the NHL can drop your stock from 39th to 50th.

Michigan plays next week. April 7 I think? They wait for the NCAA basketball to be over.

Eh, gotta remember part of these rankings are taking into consideration a prospects potential. So even if McDonagh is playing well in the NHL as a 2nd pairing defenseman, someone who is projected to have the potential to be a franchise defenseman but who isn't playing in the NHL might get ranked higher than him.

Of course McDonagh has proven more, but that doesn't mean he will always be the better player, etc

I believe it is the 7th.

Which is why some were rooting for Michigan to lose; as it is unlikely at this point that Hagelin will be able to join the wolfpack for any extended period of time.

40-31 released of HF top 50 prospects. These lists are absolutely terrible, I'm sorry.

The information is very good, but I disagree with too many of the rankings.

Speaking of Kreider,he was on twitter last night and this morning. Won't answer any hockey related questions. Hasn't played in one week and can't wait for next season but won't say where next season will be. His jaw is not 100%.

The ranking is never that great. Too much emphasis placed on draft position, and not enough on performance.

CT is clinging to a playoff spot. 8th seed and 2 points ahead of the 9th seed Worcester. Even in games played. CT has 3 more wins.

Moose Jaw lost game 5. 3-1. They are now trailing Kootenay 3-2.

Chillwack is down 3-1 and facing elimination tonight.
