whats the best store for finding cheap/on sale sticks without having to pay the ridiculous shipping and duty fees (which make the stick totally not worth it) for us Canadians

Most sticks from thehockeymaster.com ship from canada, so the fees are pretty low, just $10 to ship most sticks.

www.hockeyzonemn.com

Just ordered a shaft and blade from them, great customer service. I'll quote what I posted in another thread about that:

Quote:
Great customer service too, I had initially ordered a Synergy ST (which was listed with the intermediate shafts) along with a senior blade, and they emailed me and called me to say that the shaft was listed with the intermediate shafts because it was a 60 flex, but it was junior sized and took junior blades, and asked me if I still wanted it or wanted something else. The guy actually took the time to go check out what other intermediate shafts they had in stock, then gave me a call back and spent 5-10 minutes discussing which would be best considering level of play, money, etc. Damn, that was rather long-winded, but it's rare to find great customer service nowadays so I thought I'd give them a good recommendation.

Great service, just bought a One95 Shaft and blade IN STOCK on sunday and got it today.

They installed the blade cleanly and they have a great customer service.

Cheap shipping too (14$ for my blade and stick). Good option in Canada. (I live in Laval, Qc)

Thought this might be useful for players buying sticks online:

http://playersbench.com/bladeComp.ihtml

It's a little tool that compare's retail blade patterns, and allows players to see what manufacturers match up. Pretty cool huh?

Does anybody just buy off amazon?
If not - what site do you guys find to have the best deals usually... I get tired of browsing 10 different sites to just get a stick!

I personally buy from www.icewarehouse.com. Comparable prices (if not cheaper) than most online shops, free shipping on $100+ orders, 10% off with membership and the standard shipping gets to my house in a day (I live in the same state.) Haven't ordered from anywhere else so I can't comment on other sites.

Has anyone ordered to Canada from www.hockeyoverstock.com? They have RBK 10K stick's on for 99.99. They claim with 3 day air shipping to Canada my total will only be 129.99, seems low as hockeygiant wants to charge me 80 bucks for shipping!

Anyone ever used this in Canada?
