Thanks.

Great avy too. Leon's a god, haha.

Another be how is Gagne playing lately? Is he playing better or still looks like his career is on downside?

Kunitz is much better on left side.
Neal is much better on left side.
Gagne is much better on left side.

So... Which one is most comfortable on right side? Not one of them, but what Bylsma should do then? Move Kunitz with Staal on the 3rd and make 3 dangerous lines, or forget Gagne and let Shero try to sign a guy like Cole who can play on right side.

With Crosby and Malkin now questionable, do they need another injury concern?

I think the Pens have too many health risks as it is. They've got Neal, Kunitz, Staal, Tangradi to support they're big to pivots.

IMO, for the price of Gagne you go after Tomas Fleischmann instead. He's hands down the better option. That and I offer the Jackets the #1 pick for Filatov and look to pair him with Malkin and hope that shakes some sense into the kid's head. If that doesn't nothing else will.

That still makes me violently ill thinking about it. I've never hated a Penguin so.
I always wondered how Mark Recchi made Philly and Pittsburgh fans feel. He shuffled between the franchises kind of oddly.

Rex was kind of a weird one. I wasn't old enough to fully comprehend the NHL and hockey until around the 94-95 season, so I didn't see him play as a Penguin first. I didn't like him when he was a Flyer, but I didn't hate him. I loved it when he came back to the Pens, but now that he's gone again it seems like hes always involved in a big play against us. I guess I'm pretty neutral on him now, but still have a lot of respect for him.

As for LeClair, I don't know that I'll ever forgive Craig Patrick for signing that guy. Literally my most hated player of all time. It was like a nightmare seeing him in a Pens jersey.

Gagne was the only Flyer I didn't despise while he was there. I'd love to have him in Pittsburgh, but as has been said, the left side is looking a bit crowded already.

I would again have to hate Gagne, b/c when he's healthy, man is he a good player with a great shot

And playing with either Sid or Geno would be great for Pens fans, not so good for the oppositions fans

Yeah, I don't know exactly why that is, but I agree that Gagne wasn't really hated by Pens fans when he was in Philly. He was one of their players that just plays the game in a very respectable way. He's a hard guy to hate, imo.

Is Toews an injury concern now that he's had a concussion? Might as well label anyone who straps on skates an injury concern.

If Gagne can play RW I'd love him on the team for a 2-3 year deal.

Gagne's a pretty big injury concern though, I wouldn't want to commit to more than 2 years if I was signing him.

I'd much rather try out Gagne and his injury risk on RW than Michael Ryder.

Not sure if he will want to play for the Penguins but I'd be all over this.

Given recent play and chemistry by some lines, the Penguins could easily do:

Neal - Crosby - Jeffery
Gange - Malkin - Letestu
Kunitz - Staal - Kennedy
Adams - Vitale - Talbot/Tangradi

Good god...then factor in an amazing D-core and an elite goalie...you have an instant Cup favorite.

I'd go with something like that too. My duos would be Gagné/Crosby, Neal/Malkin, Kunitz/Staal. In the new NHL, duos are the way to go. Sid and Geno are good enough that they don't need two great wingers. A good winger + a grinder than can make space for them is the way to go. Kunitz and Staal work very well together and would be even better with Sid and Geno in the lineup.

I agree, and if Malkin wasn't ready:

Neal - Crosby - Gagne
Kunitz - Staal - Kennedy
Cooke - Letestu - Talbot
Adams - Jeffery - Vitale

Bottom 6 can vary...
