Honestly not sure what you are watching. 9 times out of 10, we come away with 4 points the last 2 games. Dominant performances, 2 bad turnovers and 3 skate goals beat them.
Sadly that stuff can happen in playoffs and it dont matter how you lose...you still lose
Your actually wong about that. Up until January/February, without Zherdev in the lineup, the Flyers never lost.
Since when did I call Zherdev the savior? I simply like seeing him in the line up and know he can contribute to the team.
It's a team sport. You win, and lose as a team. The fact that the Flyers as a whole, can't beat a high school team doesn't reflect on Zherdev or any other single Flyer.
It's effort. We have at least one shift per period in which we're flat out dominated and everyone is running rings around us in the third period. They don't look tired, they just don't look like they particularly care about these games.
Again I'm not trying to be overly pessimistic but when you play this badly going into the most important part of the season there is reason for concern. I feel like we've been playing the "don't panic" card for a little too long now considering what we are all expecting from them.
I love these arguments....we are playing like complete **** going into the playoffs...they have played terribly for weeks now. Good argument bro.

Yeah, they look unmotivated. Yeah, it's frustrating to watch. It's obvious they want the regular season to be over with.
But if you are seriously assuming they will bring the same "I don't give a ****" attitude come playoffs I suggest you just end your season right here right now.

I think some people need to realise that last year was something of an anomaly. The attitude of the happy clappers seems to be that because we did it once we'll do it again.
One that will stop all 3 of those BS Skate deflection goals?
every year going into the playoffs, the quesiton has always been goaltending.........
so, what do the fine management team at flyers central do
stack up all four lines full of talent and then do nothing with goaltending ?
if their goal was to try and outscore the competition throughout the year because of that talent, its not working
when they have any lead, they sit back
when they are losing by one, they are dominant
you watch this game and every other game for quite a while
they team has ZERO confidence in their goaltending
anytime the puck is near or getting near the net, there is 2 or 3 flyers very close to the net trying to help the goalie freeze the puck and or save a squeaker from going in
even if they get past one or two rounds..........they'll still have to go through a very tough vancouver team ( at least they have a goalie and then built up from there )

Well it will be pretty amazing if they go 2 months of sucking ass, and dominating in playoffs. I would love some consistency but since around the end of February, they have been flat out bad...like not playoff worthy bad. Luckily they destroyed in the beginning of the season, if not, with tie current play, they would be on the fringe of playoffs.

This team went from, in my opinion, one of the best flyers teams teams I've seen play in the last 10 plus years, to this. They've looked extremely mediocre lately. If they are seriously just mailing it in, it'd be smart to at least try to obtain some kind of positive momentum heading into they playoffs.
