So what you're telling me is our Defense can get points but our forwards can't do squat in Houston??

MG with an assist. Apparently a great saucerpass for an easy goal, I'm reading a finnish GDT. Don't know why he shows up as the secondary assist. But he made the play

After Granlund passed, the puck touched Ahtola's stick on it's way but it didn't really chance it's direction at all and came to Kousa who scored. The play was really made by Granlund, really nice saucer pass.

So he's 3+5=8 in 9 play-off games? When was the last time a 19-year-old has scored points on that pace in FEL? Olli Jokinen? Saku Koivu?

If you're talking playoffs-only, I wouldn't know. But in the regular season Teemu Pulkkinen managed a better pace this season.

I bet MG would have done better without the concussion. MG has been HIFK's best player so far in the playoffs. Not even sure has any U-20 done so well in poffs ever.

Gotta love the HIFK-Jokerit rivarly! You guys are constantly bashing each other's teams. When talking about Granlund and Pulkkinen, you really notice the difference between a comment from a Jokerit fan and a HIFK fan. (I'm not a fan of either team, I cheer for JYP! )

Have to say that Jere Sallinen has impressed me in couple last games. He is great 4th liner. He has passion and great attitude in his game. Don't know if it ever going to be exchanged to NHL or AHL rink, but I think if he trains with a motivation he can make it. He could be at least AHL-player, if not 4th line player in the NHL. But there is some talent.

Olli Jokinen scored 9points in 9 playoff games in 98. He won the championship and was selected to Playoff MVP.

Granlund will do better!

Just read here that Kolner Haie of Germany has signed Bjorn Krupp to a deal?

I thought Minnesota had signed him to a 3-year deal a couple years back? Has his development stalled?

HIFK won Lukko 3-0 today (now leading best of 7 series 3-1), no points for Granlund but involved in a really nice tic-tac-toe PP goal:

(38:11 2-0 SÖDERHOLM Toni (HAATAJA Juha-Pekka, AHTOLA Jerry) PP)

Granlund plays the half wall very effectively on the PP. I'm excited to see what this kid can do in the NHL.

HIFK trying to clinch their spot in the finals, currently leading Lukko 2-0 after 24 minutes. Granlund scored the 2-0 goal (on PP, of course).

And now he makes it 3-0, even strength. The next MSL, Savard, P Kane and Giroux? I love him.

Edit: yes he is, he just assisted another one 4-0

Second goal for MG, just couple seconds and HIFK makes it 4-0, assist for Granlund (34 minutes played). Seems that they'll advance to the finals.

Radio announcers say though that this second one was easily allowed by Lukko's goalie Mika Noronen, just a basic wrist shot by Granlund.

Granlund will be playoffs MVP if his team wins the title(Petrell has good chances aswell) If they face Blues at the finals and lose then Tarkki wins it but if hifk wins or loses to JYP in the finals granlund is favourite to win conn smythe of finland 2+2 now. 12points in 11 games so far and game isn't done yet. WOOW 6-0 NOW GRANLUND 2+3 HE MAKES WHATEVER HE WANTS IN THE ICE.

Pretty impressive game by IFK. Granlund's playoff-stats are 11gp 5+8=13p
