Rangers have a 83.5% chance of making it mathematically. I can understand not believing they are gonna win the cup but putting them at unlikely is an insult... And stop with the " this is what the rangers do.. I've been a ranger fan for sooooo long waaa." we missed the playoffs once since the lockout.
i went 50/50 because it depends, as rangers have said the the isles game was not their game, it is not how they play...so if they come together and play their game where they have been successful, no problem, if they can't find their game well then i'd have to say no.

Thank you!
The only time I remember the Rangers barely missing it is last year.
The Rangers have an 83.5% chance of making it if it's just them and the Canes. Throw in the chance that either the Habs or the Sabres can also have a few bad games, and their odds of making it are upwards of 95%.
There are 3 open spots and 4 teams competing for them, with the Canes clearly behind and none of the top 3 teams ahead of any other by more than 2 points or 1 extra game.

The panic would certainly have been less had we beaten either the Sabres or Isles. Now the games are tougher. Fortunately the other teams we're fighting with for a playoff spot also have a few difficult match-ups.

You can't sit here and tell me this team has had good luck can you?
Jagr blows shoulder against Devils, Rangers swept.
7 seconds and Drury buries it...comes to the Rangers and ***** the bed.
Gomez multiple cups and comes here & plays like ****.
Up 3-1 against caps, and blow it.
Miss the playoffs in a damn shootout coming down to the last game.
And today, after being in the playoffs all season we find ourselves clinging onto the 8th spot in need for at least 2 wins from our next 4 games. Hopefully the fortunes turn starting tomorrow.

But then there were so many good points; how about the Cup run in 79, overcoming injuries to goon their way to the Conference (Semi) Finals in 1981 where if they had a hot goalie would've gone all the way, 86, winning the Division in 89-90, etc.
We've had our fair of good and bad as Rangers fans.

Lol coming from the guy with the tank as his avatar. Guess I've gotta go with you on this one!
well if the Isles can win 2nite then they are up by 3 pts which obviously means they would have to F it up twice with the Canes coming through. So I would feel alot better especially after that and a win tommorow
Answered 25% due to how lame they have been the last 2 games. Unsure whether I want them in or out, as they are not going anywhere either way. They are first round outs again. Glen Sather will continue his epic reign of failure to make it past the first round since taking over. The loudmouth coach will blame everyone else but himself, starting with the media and Wojtek Wolski and Sean Avery, who have failed to get much done in the 6:00 per game of ice time they get. However, Erik Christensen will continue to get a regular shift.
I hope someone can start to find the net. I mean getting beat by a good goalie is one thing but having most shots SLAM off the back boards and glass is a bit frustrating. I have never seen such weak offensive confidence in a club. I thought they broke outa this crap a month ago.
Gabby time to earn that 7Mil budd.
Christensen, this is it brotha. No worries? I would be worried if I were you. Use that damn wrister!

While I do think we are first round outs, at this point I'd rather see us make it then pick a couple spots higher. Hopefully we can put a couple wins together here.
Their wretched PP which cost them countless games, overall inability to score and brainless offensive strategy has wasted me this season.
Watching them try to score is like giving birth, so with this stretch of play in the end i've lost a lot of confidence. I'm getting sick of watching a team struggle to score.

I want offense next season.
Yeah, but that makes it all that much more exciting when they deliver!

idk about that. These last 3 or 4 seasons have been hard to watch from an offensive standpoint. year after year of watching your team struggle to score 2-3g a game and power play thats practically a liability is growing thin on me.
This team is never going to succeed until they get a first line.

You don't know of you want your "favorite" team to make the playoffs? What do you watch for? Why are you a fan?. Why don't you just stop watching until they are in the Stanley cup finals in 10 years then you'll have a good reason to be "a fan". Unreal.
Went with 75%. Even if Canes win tonight they are still 1 point behind us with 4 games to go. They play 3 playoff teams and Atlanta. We play 2 playoff teams and Atlanta/NJ.
