I loved the Jedi mind trick aspect of this game. Since the Kings can't score their own goals have your opponent put the puck in their own net or leave the net open with no goalie.

"These are not the goals you are looking for... So go put them in your own net."

Ok I am hoping Dallas wins out the season and makes the playoffs.
I would love it if all 5 Pacific teams made the post season. No division has ever has done that. If that means the Blackhawks are playing golf on April 10th, I would not be sad.

not going to happen but it would show the Pacific as the best division.

The Pacific is already the best division with 4 teams in the playoffs. I don't want Dallas to make the playoffs since the Canucks would probably destroy them. I want the Canucks to face Chicago in the first round and lose.

Guys are stepping their game up in the absence of Kopi and Williams. Impressed with Trevor Lewis these past few games, I am liking his game right now, just needs to work on his faceoffs.

On to the next one, I love this team!

... Ah, an interesting topic to do a little homework on.

Kings at home are 20-15-4, and they've scored 103 goals and allowed 91.

Kings on road are 16-16-7, and they've scored 101 goals and allowed 92.

Of course, the numbers don't include the shootout; those are converted to ties because, yeah really that's what they are. It's awfully close, though.

Personally, it would be nice to have home ice advantage in a playoff round. The Kings haven't done that in 19 years.

In the end we got two points and are close to making the playoffs.

seems like 100 points will almost guarantee the Kings a spot in the #4 vs #5 series.

Poor Ott.

Hey how about that Crawford Magic?

Bob said Ott is third in the league in faceoffs. Didn't know that.

Edit: He's fifth. Still impressive.

What about removing that run to start the season?

Its funny to see Westgarth looking decent out there. It looked like he had a lot of ice time the first two periods.

Yup. It's so frigging frustrating that no ref saw that, or didn't think it warranted a penalty. Handzus had the puck on his body, how could they not be watching that play?

It's pretty clear Ribiero was targeting the head of a vulnerable player. But since he didn't get his brains scrambled (thankfully), let the NHL wheel of justice spin...

That's a suspension under the new rules, IMO. Clear cut head shot and the follow through of the elbow pad looks real bad for Mike in slow motion.

Can I just say that as mad as I was at Ribeiro hitting Zues (which I think was clean), I like that the refs didn't call any penalties and let the boys played . . that's playoff hockey right there.

Happy about the win. Greene with his 2 GOALS A YEAR!!! WOOOHOOO!!!

The Zues hit didn't seem intention, the puck was stuck in Zues and Ribeiro took the body . . . nothing wrong with that . . .

They said on Hot Stove that they heard that Lombardi told Schenn that as soon as his team is eliminated he will be called up by the Kings.

To think Schenn is going to get into the lineup and be this HUGE impact that gets the Kings into the SC Cups finals is a fantasy and nothing more than that . . . get real peeps
