zuch's vision has really surprised me, and i can't wait to see him again next season. this is playoff hockey time right now, and i just don't think he's physically/mentally ready for it at this point in his career. he'll be a solid nhler in his career.

meh. he was scoring at the same pace as Stepan (PPG). For all the "youth movement" ******** ive been reading, i was hoping that the youth that got us there, into the playoffs, would be playing there. I want this team to make the playoffs so that they gel together and reach a stepping stone. Much better than getting a 9th draft pick that'll help us 4 years from now like some of you retards are rooting for.

Anyways, im against the Zucc demotion. There is noONE in hartford that id rather have up. Kris Newbury is gonna be better, really??? Ugghhhh.

Zucc is a player who needs at least 15-20 minutes per game and he is just mentally stressed when he only gets a few minutes per game. Then it's much better to pick players from Hartford with strength and speed that can perform better than Zucc, players who are prepared for little ice time. Anyway, I love Tortorella and the way he protects his players from the media when they play bad and I understand his reasoning much better now.

Well it should be said that the pace of the game is quite different in the AHL. Afterall, it is a leauge of second class players as a whole

A right move from Tortorella there,I`ve said it before,he isnt fit due to the lack of summer training. He couldnt last an entire season. I`m sure we`ll see a completely different player in autumn.
According to Øystein Jarlsbo, a norwegian hockey blogger and capacity; "due to jumpers knee and a long term ancle injury, he hasnt run at all last couple of years!
Hardly an optimal training fundament for a NHL season.

Awesome, good to hear he bounced right back after some disapointing games for NYR. Shows he wants it real bad.
Would you mind sending me the link to where you are watching the game? Thanks!

6.99$ a game. Ikke veldig bra, streames rett fra kuben i hallen, men man får hvertfall se han dominere litt igjen. Liten tvil om at han er whales beste spiller

2 crossbar shots and one miss on a empty net on feeds by zucc in the last pp. The pp was given after Zucc blasted past 3 pirates and got hooked up alone with the goalie.. He dominates in the ahl no doubt

Have you any link to where you read that?
It`s clearly that The Whale has more use of him at this point. He has four assist in three games, and was second star of the last game.

I`m okey with this moove. Better for him to have a lot of minutes and produce in The AHL,than sit in the pressbox in The NHL.

I read some place that he could not train optimal last summer due to a jumpers knee? Is that a fact?
If so,maybe his comming to camp much stronger and fitter in september.

Is it for sure that he is past that ancle injury and the jumpers knee then? Hope he can train for real this summer.

Well, I'm glad he's getting back to normal up in Hartford. I won't be surprised if we see him up again, but in all honesty I think Torts should let him ride out the rest of the year in the AHL.

Zuc is absolutely one of my favorite players in the entire league but I'd rather see him given the proper time to regroup that way he can come back blazing next year. I think most people on here are right, it's been a very long year for him, he didn't come into the season in shape for the NHL and a little more confidence coupled with a great summer training will have him poised to make waves next year.

Don't write this kid off.. it's all there, he just has to dig deep.

I totally agree with you. Wonder how many people said that Martin St. Louis wouldn`t become an NHLèr after just 1 point in 19 games as a 24 year old player (rookie season). Not that I believe Mats will become that huge but I think he belong in NHL. But I think he is also dependent of having high quality linemates.
