With Modano and Turco gone the room was supposed to be better yet here we are pissing away the final 35 games. People don't like to blow it up because there's no guarantee the team will improve, see St. Louis, Florida, Atlanta, and the like, but at this point does anyone want to see Morrow, Robidas, Ott, Daley, and possibly Ribiero again next year? A recycle of the past four seasons expecting this next year will be the one they step forward. Heck at this point I'm not even sure I want Richards re-signed for the term and money he's going to demand. What's better middle of the road maybe fighting for 8th or trading what you have hoping you're the next Chicago, Washington, Pittsburgh, or LA? The fanbase has basically been chased away already, selling tickets isn't going to happen until they start to win. Without an owner, money, better players we're Minnesota. Doesn't that sound like fun?

Chicago, Washington, Pittsburgh, and LA were terrrrible for years. This team has specific areas of weakness that need to be addressed, not wholesale changes.
Re: coach being to blame, etc. The old saying of it's easier to changes coaches than change all of your players comes to mind. It's the way things go. I don't see how anybody can objectively look at these last two seasons and make a case for Crawford having earned a third year, regardless of whether he is
to blame.
