LOL-Charlie Sheen salutes Chris Pronger

Quote:
Chris Pronger is sidelined as he recovers from hand surgery, but the Flyers’ defenseman still drew some national attention Sunday when he showed up on Charlie Sheen’s Facebook page.

Sheen’s Facebook page displayed a photo of Pronger wearing a blue shirt that says, “Duh, Winning.”

For some reason, “Winning” has become one of Sheen’s popular catchphrases _ as if the word was never used before.

Underneath the photo of Pronger, were these words, apparently written by Sheen: “Are you #WINNING? Chris Pronger from the Philadelphia Flyers is.”

I don't get this Charlie Sheen stuff. I've been following it from the very beginning and still don't get it. Is this all a publicity stunt? Either way it is pretty entertaining.

When else have you ever seen the total epic collapse of a person, with the means to be totally honest and just plan not give a darn what other people think.

I dont know if I would call it an epic collapse, I mean he still gets $100 million from re runs, and is probably more popular now then ever. The drug thing has been going on for 20 years, its just being publicized more now

I am not talking about a financial or life collapse, but mentally this guy is losing it, and its been one hell of a ride. I mean, I won't be going to any of his live shows, but reading the tweets have been fun, and I kind of want a Duh, Winning t-shirt.

Can't believe people think this dude is still funny.

He's run his jokes harder into the ground than a HF Boards poster. Ever since he found out people loved the "winning" and "tigerblood" ****, he ruined it.

I think it's hilarious that his tour is turning out to be a flop. He doesn't deserve any money.

Lol some bitter people in here. It's not a show from Sheen. This really is his life. The guy is pretty messed up. Good on him though I guess.

When you are banging an award winning pornstar, an actress and your wife in a sunny resort that you own. You are winning!

Absolutely. Charlie Sheen is living his life (which seems like a pretty damn good one to me) and only God can judge him.

People get jealous. It's human nature I suppose. Sad but true.

Charlie Sheen is the man. Speaks his mind without fear of any kind of consequences (including losing his job), lives his life the way he sees fit, and doesn't give a damn what others think.

Charlie Sheen is da bul.

He's also a **** father, who has probably screwed up his kids for life. He's shot one woman, definitely abused another couple, etc.

So while, yes, the stuff he's doing is entertaining on a surface level... celebrating him in any way beyond the simple comedy of the moment is a bit much.

You're being a bit unfair I think Jester.

Remember, he himself was messed up by his father. In fact, that's when he started doing drugs and abusing alcohol. His father did it to him.

He was in love with a pornstar, Ginger Lynn I think her name is. He was truly in love with her. He proposed and they got engaged. In interviews with the both of them, they both stated they were never happier in their lives.

And then Charlie's dad stepped in and stopped the engagement and called off the wedding. That's when Charlie got into drugs heavily and alcohol abuse.

That's not making excuses for him either. It's just the way things turned out in his life.

He's had to battle through some pretty gritty stuff himself.

I don't care what reasons he has for being messed up...if you abuse another human being or are a bad parent, you don't deserve much celebration for being a sideshow.

Are you *ing serious? The dude grew up in *ing Malibu. I don't know much about Martin Sheen as a father (do know he's a religious dude and serious humanitarian activist), but to suggest that Charlie's history isn't largely of his own doing... is ridiculous, let alone to celebrate his current activities.

Don't get me wrong, some of the stuff he's been doing/saying is hilarious... but lets not put him on a pedestal, and lets not act like he isn't a mentally imbalanced a**hole.

We aren't talking about a guy that grew up in the ghetto and had to struggle to make it in life... he's the son of a very successful actor that grew up in one of the wealthiest areas of America, with a ton of **** in his favor. Like a lot of other **** ups that come from that background, it was the monetary benefits of his family and early career that enabled him to get to this point.

The guy held a knife to the throat of the mother of two of his children... lets maintain a bit of perspective here. No matter what excuses for that you might want to make, he isn't "da bul." He's a *ing a**hole, and people need to keep that in mind.

But no one's celebrating him for being a bad parent or for abusing others LOL.

He's simply admired for being pretty damn gutsy about speaking his mind so freely and for the entertainment value he's giving us simply by living his life.

No one's making excuses for him. He's messed up. Even he will acknowledge that LOL.

He's celebrated for speaking his mind freely and not caring about the consequences and also for the pure entertainment value he gives us just by being himself.
