The Good: Never give-up, never-say-die attitude that this Ranger team has.
The bad: The PP needs work and McDonagh had a rough game.
You posted this multiple times. We've gotten your point. I'm just confused to all the people criticizing the fans who were down on the team. Wtf do you expect when the Rangers are down 3-0 before the middway point of the game? Roses?
Give me a break, regardless of our opinions were all Rangers fans. Some just feel differently than others. After being a Ranger fan for my entire life, I can tell you, it's quite easy to be a pessimist and expect the worst.
Which makes these kinds of wins that much sweeter.
PotG: Prospal... he was the catalyst for our entire comeback
Good: The overall team effort AFTER we went down 3-0. This wasn't our usual 2 minute remaining burst of effort... we kept up an amazing pace for the entire last half of the game.
Bad: Lots of very weird passing / banking / chip shots behind the net. I think at some point the Rangers started getting desperate to get a funny angle shot in.
Redden: Any Rangers fans who went to bed after 3-0.
And Thomas was absolutely brutal tonight. Talk about letting your team down. This guy had a 3-0 lead to work with, and couldn't come up with one big save. Heck, not even average saves. 3 of the 4 goals were stoppable. 2 of them were softies.
Agreed.
For a guy who's looking to break statistical records, I certainly didn't feel like I was watching the second-coming of Hasek. I'm struggling to remember even one good save that he made.
The article on nhl.com is funny. Looks like someone wrote it in the second and forgot to edit:
Quote:
That dominance continued during the first half of the second period, as Kelly made it 3-0 by converting a 2-on-1 rush with a wrister that beat Lundqvist to the stick side at 10:32.
The Rangers stopped the bleeding 1:02 later when Prospal cut the lead to 3-1 by tapping home a loose puck after Thomas made a save on Wojtek Wolski.
Prospal made it a one-goal game when he converted a feed from Wolski with 1:34 left in the second period. Wolski made the pass from behind the net to set Prospal for a goal that got the MSG fans, who were booing the Rangers off the ice at the end of the first period, whipped into a frenzy at the close of the second period.
The Rangers didn't threaten during the third period. They finished 0-for-4 on the power play.
Agreed.

Hasek didn't need a decent defense in front of him. You really can't say the same for Thomas.
The Good: Sauer, Prospal
The Bad: The first 40 minutes
The Redden: The self-righteousness of some posters who call out "fake fans" for making emotional, angry posts on a message board. You aren't more of a fan because you make less comments when you're angry. It's a message board. You can take your omniscience with you on the subway along with $2.00
I know what I'm doing with my first two cups of Joe tomorrow morning.Just watching the xpressions on Milbury's and Jonesy faces will make it a great morning, HAAAA HA HA!!
I'm so unbelievably stoked right now. I must have gotten 10 phone calls from fellow Ranger fans completely elated about the win, as well... not a game I will soon forget. I can't express how excited I am to see how this team performs in the post-season.
