While Prospal played well, I'm not buying the "carried the team on his back" mantra. The 1st goal was a wide open net after Staal made an great play to get the puck to Wolski. And, it was Stepan's hustle to get to the puck in the corner, and then getting the puck to Wolski, who made an excellent pass to Prospal. That whole line deserves credit for getting the Rangers back in the game.

On Sauer's goal I became Joe Michelletti. I was screaming that's in that's in!

Very nice win but I think the PP put a slight shadow on it. It's going to be hard moving forward without a working PP. But for now there are 2 more games to go with some much needed rest for the boys in between. Can't wait for Thursday.

So I just rewatched the last half of the game (lots of skipping), and the new lines were:

Prospal - Stepan - Wolski
Dubinsky - Anisimov - Gaborik
Fedotenko - Boyle - Callahan
Avery - Christensen - Prust

Staal - Girardi
Eminger - Sauer
McDonagh - McCabe

I wouldn't tempt fate. We just beat a hell of a good team with a ridiculously good D and goaltender. I'm going to enjoy this, but I would rather face THE bOB over The Tim anyday

I still can't believe what happened. At 3-0 it was all but over especially against a team like Boston that traps and shuts everything down. This truly was something else.

Tough call. Prospal had a couple of bone-headed turnovers in key situations, but overall he did turn the tide of the game, and I have to give him POTG for that.

Watching our team win and get into the playoffs is a prize enough for me. But I def felt it coming. I hate when so many give up on the team and being a Ranger fan for so long people get used to disappointment. Call me on optimist but this team doesn't quit and I felt it coming. Gotta keep the faith

jk...but really, I can't remember the last time I shut a game off mid play. Even that 10-2 Stars game I watch all the way through.
I went outside, smoked a couple of cigarettes, did a little bit of work, then turned on the game with about 8 minutes left in the second. Now granted, I only half paid attention until we scored those two goals...

Nope it's down to 3. Rangers have 91 points and Carolina can only max out at 93.

Just for the record, there is a difference between people who make posts because they are frustrated with the way the team is playing, and people who at times make you question if they are rooting for the Rangers or not. I think we all know who those people are. I can understand making a post out of frustration like "**** this team!" because we've all done it before.

Agreed. Staal made a great play to get that puck to the slot on the first goal, and Stepan beat 2 Bruins to the boards to get it to Wolski for the second. Huge plays, obviously.

First and last warning.
When we're in the playoffs we're going to go through some rough patches. I believe this team can work through them, but it sure would be nice to see the fans support the team through them. I'd love to hear some "Lets Go Rangers!" chants when we're losing. The booing has got to stop.

Quitting on your team and being a fake fan are one and the same. And both deserve nothing but contempt.

I actually did the same (except for the smoking part, obviously ). Just came onto HF and had the game on in the background. After the Tan scored, I was switching back and forth.

Crow meter= Busted.
All you fair weathers who waive the white flag and throw in the towel at the first sign of trouble should be ashamed of yourselves. This team has been made of better stuff than that all year. This is a different team than in the past. They don't give up. They just keep coming at you until the final buzzer. I'm so proud of this team.

You're entitled to your opinion, but opinions need to be expressed in civil discourse. Telling each other "**** you fake fan" isn't going to fly.

Ahh, for some reason I thought Carolina had 4 games left.

So 3 points,
34 vs 33.

Although I believe if the Rangers win a game in regulation/ot and Carolina wins one in a SO, the Rangers would clinch.
