When we're in the playoffs we're going to go through some rough patches. I believe this team can work through them, but it sure would be nice to see the fans support the team through them. I'd love to hear some "Lets Go Rangers!" chants when we're losing. The booing has got to stop.
Quitting on your team and being a fake fan are one and the same. And both deserve nothing but contempt.
You either have an extremely enlightened personality or you haven't been a rangers fan for that long.
Crow meter= Busted.
All you fair weathers who waive the white flag and throw in the towel at the first sign of trouble should be ashamed of yourselves. This team has been made of better stuff than that all year. This is a different team than in the past. They don't give up. They just keep coming at you until the final buzzer. I'm so proud of this team.
You'll have to forgive my skepticism. One season cannot undo what nearly three decades of suck has does to my psyche. Keep in mind some of us are also Mets and Jets fans.
Watching our team win and get into the playoffs is a prize enough for me. But I def felt it coming. I hate when so many give up on the team and being a Ranger fan for so long people get used to disappointment. Call me on optimist but this team doesn't quit and I felt it coming. Gotta keep the faith
I'll have what he's having

While Prospal played well, I'm not buying the "carried the team on his back" mantra. The 1st goal was a wide open net after Staal made an great play to get the puck to Wolski. And, it was Stepan's hustle to get to the puck in the corner, and then getting the puck to Wolski, who made an excellent pass to Prospal. That whole line deserves credit for getting the Rangers back in the game.
No, I give Prospal the most credit. Too many times we see pucks pass through golden, ripe, crease territory and nobody with the smarts to get there and actually do the deed.
Prospal gets marks for understanding how goals are scored.
Also can i propose something to the mods. I saw on the bruins board they have stickied a thread for streams. I would love if we did something similar because literally 100 posts in our gdt were simply asking for streams and it was quite consistent throughout the game.

Then you should have more faith in the Rangers. After all, they have won more recently/consistently than the Mets.

agree the whole line played well. and I have been saying for a while wolski has been playing hard especially on defense. He does deserve more ice time give the guy some minutes and he will create chances he is the second most pure talent on the team and his play defensively is much improved.
overall good win rangers
at times i did see the boyle line get caught out of position but played well late.
I'm pretty sure Callahan was on with Dubi. I mean, he did make the sick feed for the tying goal. Cally was also out there with him when he blocked that big slapshot.

But, that's not carrying the team, IMO. Again, credit him for making a smart play, but, it wasn't a "Herculean, carry the team" effort.
So is there any way we can clinch a spot on Thursday?
Yeah, if Carolina loses in regulation tomorrow night then we just need a point on Thursday to clinch. If they lose in OT then we can clinch with a win.

Still no word on Callahan's injury?
Torts double-shifted Cally in place of Gaborik on that one.
I went outside, smoked a couple of cigarettes, did a little bit of work, then turned on the game with about 8 minutes left in the second. Now granted, I only half paid attention until we scored those two goals...
Only couple? I dont smoke inside the house but if I did I would've had a packet. That was nerve wrecking.
