As other have mentioned, not a fan of the scapegoat booing (booing players such as Redden or Rozy when their names were announced for goals/assists were despicable) or the idiots constantly yelling "shooot!" on the PP when the player on the point clearly doesn't have an open lane to shoot.

But if the team as a whole is playing poorly, I don't mind if there is a smattering of the boos throughout the Garden. And if the PP can't set up and spends more time pinned in their own zone than in the offensive zone, then the PP units are probably deserving of some boos as well.

As a seasoned veteran, I'm actually surprised that Vinny still takes offense to the booing. Some of the other players or coaches are capable of brushing it off or say the team deserved to be booed (Boudreau actually said this when he played the Rangers this year). I was at the game and the booing wasn't as nearly as bad as some of the games I've been to in the past.

Oh. I agree, but I can understand why people would boo. I don't believe cheering was in the equation there- it was either a dead silent arena or the boo-birds coming out.

In answer to many of you who are asking, I do not know about Cally's condition after blocking Chara's bomb late in third...he was not in LR

Rangers tickets are expensive. We pay for the game, therefore we have every right to boo.

I know nothing about the Callahan rumors. Didn't see him after game. But you'd think an injury would have put a damper on Torts' mood.

I'd understand the booing more if this was game 55 or so. But the Rangers absolutely needed this win and getting behind the team and being positive just seems more constructive to me.

Whatever, it's not going to change either way.

Shame this was a VS game, so there's no Rangers in 60, or any replays on MSG. This is one of those games I'd watch every replay of cause I couldn't get enough of it

This game reminds me, I promised to post a Game of the Year poll afte rthe regular season, but I'm on probation thanks to simultaneous infractions so I can't make polls. Could someone kindly take care of that?

Make sure to watch the pre-game on Thursday. Always much more fun coming off a win.

Was Cally on the ice for the stick salute? And if it was broken, he probably wouldn't have been able to skate off the ice.

I'm worried because of the Biron injury from the deadline where a poster reported it without a source, it was locked up and closed and then 24 hours later we all found out he was right. I heard broken ankle which I doubt cause if he broke his ankle I'm doubting he is standing up, lets hope he is okay and just dinged up. We are going to need him.

I can understand if they were down 1 or 2 but they were down 3, with a minute amount of shots on goal. Then there was their power play, which all it does is kill time off the clock.

PLEASE be ok Cally.

This team doesnt deserve an injury of that magnitude right now. They've busted their ass all season, its just wrong if Cally goes down again. Unfortunately, usually a rumor like this is right.

I'm also a little bitter because i'm one of the guys who gets REALLY into a game, so i'm standing and starting LGR cheers and going nuts all throughout the game, mind you I never boo once, and when the game goes 3-0 I say to my friend "the games over, i guess they don't want to make the ****ing playoffs."

And then these guys who showed no emotion for the whole game start giving me some slack for that.

Yeah, a Cally injury would be absolutely crippling to this team right now.

I just paused the youtube video that whoot whoot posted at 7:38, i counted 20 ranger skaters on the ice even though I could not verify Callahan in that picture, so he stuck around to the end and was in the center ice salute. Doubt he would be with a broken ankle...

On a broken ankle, really? I broke a couple bones in my right foot and couldn't even stand up. I have heard of players playing with a broken foot with a boot on, but never with a broken ankle.
