It IS his fault, lets get real. The Kings make it a game by bringing the game within a goal.. Next shift Quick lets in his typical soft goal and the Kings were never the same after that. How about man up and make ONE save? The Kings didn't clinch tonight because Quick failed to make a stop.. Scratch that.. A LOT of stops that he should of made.
Just stop. JT Dutch is so much better than this than you are. Even as much as he prefers Bernier over Quick, even he will mention when Quick plays well and when something is not on him. This performance was a TEAM lapse, not a goalie lapse.
I wish Murray would atleast play Harrold over Westgarth once and see if it makes the fourth line more effective. And I hope Bernier starts Wendsday but oh well game is over just need to come out strong
Harold! Please. Might as well Esa Pirnes or Brad Chartrand. Harrold stinks, he can't score, hit or fight. At least Westy can do the latter two.
Not gonna hate on Quick too much, he's been rock solid these past 2 weeks, he's allowed to have a dud every once in awhile . . the fault lies with the team . . Way to show that intensity boys, it's only 3 games away from the playoffs . . no reason to play hard
Guys.. I mentioned this in the PGT and I'm gonna post this here. Dallas has 4 games left, all against non-playoff teams (Columbus, Colorado x2, Minnesota). We've got 3 games left, and they're against 2 teams battling for spots. Dallas has to win all 4 and we have to lose the 3, for them to take our spot. All I'm saying is, don't be so quick to jump on the playoff mentality just yet, this season is far from over

Everybody here is so spot on with their Quick homer-ism. He definitely never over push-slides, especially tonight. He's never on his stomach for no reason, and never gives up horrid ass rebounds. He's also been STELLAR since the all star break.
"Blah, blah, blah two out of three is a troll who hates Quick and loves Bernier." Take your blinders off, and realize that this "#1 goalie" we have is just some ECHL bender who can sometimes make some highlight reel saves. Then shortly after let in the softest goal you've ever seen.
Don't worry though, Quick fans. There are shootouts in playoffs so we will be fine.........
Same chances and another goalie (Bernier) would the outcome be any different?
NOOO! Because the defense were not there and the goalie was all alone as the last being on earth.
Are you trying to win the-most-hated-guy-on-the-boards-award?
1. Absolutely. I guarantee you the score isn't what it was if Bernier starts the game.
2. Bernier doesn't get that excuse.. EVER. Neither should Quick.
3. No, but that doesn't matter to me. Soon that stupid label you are trying to give me will turn into "the-guy-who-was-right-about-our-horrid-fake-number-one-goaltender."
Is that dude trolling or is he actually serious with saying Quick is just a ECHL goalie that gets lucky?
On the off chance he is serious:
I really think the people that say such things never played hockey above D4.
They certainly have never tried to play in net.
Of the four Quick gave up only two were even close to being "soft." The other two were really well placed screens. None of them had support from the team.
Quick rarely spits out BAD rebounds. Of course he generates rebounds during a game but almost all of them are controlled rebounds sent to safe zones (the corner/away from attacking players.)
Quick still has some of the best stats in the league with the most games played. I am so baffled by how that is because he simply gets lucky.
I agree, Quick has a lot of room for improvement because he is still young and learning. He sometimes (like the ENTIRE TEAM) gets a little over confident with his and the team's play. Especially, after a great game or string of wins. That is when he is just a little off his angle and lets some easy goals slip by him. But, these are mental adjustments that he will make and he has constantly improved since coming into the league.
It's completely ridiculous to even argue that he is not a true #1 goaltender.
good knowledgeable fans here, congrats to that....as a sharks fan i have no problem with your team or fans, it helps when we both have the stars and ducks to hate on....to my point, ducks fans would have been ****ing bricks and calling for every goon on the team to take runs and injure players after the murray/boyle double fight

I think it was just some frustration at the end of the game for Richardson who is one of our hardest working guys. Clifford showed that he can grapple with a guy like Murray which says a lot about his strength. I think most of us on here have mutual respect for Sharks fans too. Except you guys have the whole "Beat LA" chant which I think really needs to stay in baseball.
