OT: Scott MacArthur leaving Team 1200

This is the last Team 1200 thread I could find, so I guess I'll post this here. I guess Scotty Mac is leaving for TSN Radio...

http://twitter.com/#!/ScottMacArthur...77062000721920

Sucks, one of the few guys on the station I like to listen to.

it's not a big deal. Team network = TSN radio. The team will be rebranded tsn radio within the next few years. Going to toronto probably means some of his content gets nationally rebroadcast, probably in ottawa as well.

Who did the post game call-in show last night with Eastwood and did they announce who the permanent replacement would be?

One less Leafs fan on Ottawa radio. Maybe the pregame roundtable will be less of a ridiculous debacle now. Hoping Mike Eastwood is next. The guy is a d-bag to callers.

Yeah, not sad to see him go. The guy was a complete robot and also was very snobbish at the same time. Hopefully they can find someone who is more knowledgeable/passionate and doesn't have a know-it-all attitude.

At least you could laugh at Kulka because of his stupidity. Eastwood is just a dick.

Kulka. Most creative misuse of the english language. When this guy talked it was like he was just making the words up as he went. A lot of the times he was.

Is he leaving by his choice?

The thing I didn't like about him was that he acted like he is better then alot of the callers, when in reality he is no different then any of them. Atleast Eastwood has his experience in the NHL to fall back on and somewhat of a reason to think hes "better" then the callers.

Moving to TSN radio according to his tweets.

Couldn't agree more. He thinks so highly of himself, it's actually funny. He's a huge *******.

Glad to see im not alone on Eastwood.

His answer to ANYTHING is "psshhh well I played in the NHL, and thats not how it is. How can you be so stupid? That isnt how it is at all"

Then the person asks "how is that an answer to is Clouston going to be back again?"

And he says "I was in the NHL, Im a better human being than you. Youre stupid."

Good riddance to him. Far too snobbish for my liking...

Am I alone in liking MacArthur? I thought he was likable enough, if a bit harsh to some callers.

Last night some caller asked about why clouston shrinked his bench to 3 lines after the first period.(clearly meaning why play wick and especially da costa so little in meaningless games when they have so much to gain from a lot of ice time in the NHL).

********* eastwood laughs at the caller and rambles on about why lessard doesn't deserve ice time. Trying to make the caller sound like hes an idiot/meant lessard should get more time. What an retard eastwood is.

You're not alone - I like them both, although I haven't been listening to the post-game as much lately. I'm not sure their attitudes were any worse than the average poster here...

I'm not going to say I love Eastwood, but at least he has a take and isn't infuriatingly bland and sucky like the regular team 1200 guys(Brown, Wilson, Mendes,MacArthur,Versage)

They have these long idiotic non questions that always allow the player to say some stupid ****. They NEVER ask a real question. I wish they would die die die.

I also hate Garrioch because he's a leaf fan and thinks he knows **** because "he's been around" - yes he actually said that on a pregame show. The problem is that for all his "being around" he makes frequent mistakes in his articles, if you can call them that.

Chris Stevenson is a lackwit who follows Montreal, and Brennnan is just kind of pitiful.

I like MacArthur as well. He's a good host and his opinions are generally well thought out.

Eastwood is as annoying as they get though.
