Who to keep

So I had a pretty good season in my keeper pool, but it was mostly due to my team being pretty evenly spread out in terms of production (and the fact that my league counts hits and I got dudes who put up hits and points).

Was wondering who to keep out of the following (pick 2)

M Richards
T Plekanec
J Neal
E Kane
D Penner
D Backes
J Iginla
B Seabrook
D Keith

We keep five and I've already decided on keeping Price, Subban and Giroux as my first three.

I'm debating whether or not to keep Iggy, he may have another great year or two in him. Will either keep Iggy or Richards, probably Richards.

For the last keeper I'm stuck between Kane, Neal and Keith...keeping two dmen seems like a waste though.

I would really appreciate opinions since this is pretty tough

Why not Richards and Iginla?

Consider Kane instead of Iggy if you're rebuilding.

In a hits league, there's a case to be made for Backes. Depends how much scoring depth you ahve though.

I second this, esp. if it's a league with hits + faceoff stats.

Iginla will be 34 at the start of next season. I am always reluctant to let go of players who are 27 and younger in favor of aging elite stars. Guys who play Iginla's style of game tend to break down quickly.

Sure, he could have five more very good years left in him, but I try to follow the odds as much as possible when it comes to keepers. The actual draft is when I sometimes let my heart overrule my mind.
