Brust springs Condra and O'Brien on a 2-on-1, and O'Brien scores. #BSens win 2-1. Playoff hockey is coming back to Binghamton.

Barry Brust (30 saves) named No. 1 star. Jim O'Brien (GWG) gets No. 2.

It's great for the Sens too.

This is valuable playoff time their getting, something that can only help their development.

Absolutely. If they can win a round or two, it'll really help the parent club next year with many of those key players inevitably getting regular spots in Ottawa. They'll be more confident, mature and they'll know what is needed to win.

From a fan's perspective, I'd die a little inside if my team hadn't made the playoffs in so long. Take the the Leafs for example who have had the same drought. On that note, I'm just pleased that the Bingo fans will get to see some post season action. The added experience to Ottawa's prospects is just gravy.

From Joy's twitter:

Mike Brodeur skated out to celebrate. Everyone getting fist bumps from captain Keller and Alex Kermidas as they leave the ice.

Who is Alex Kermidas? The owner?

Assistant equipment manager

Alex Kermidas enters his sixth season with the B-Sens and his third full season as the assistant equipment manager. Kermidas is a native of Binghamton. He grew up in Binghamton’s South Side and is a product of Binghamton High School. All four years of high school Kermidas played varsity hockey and baseball for the BHS Patriots. His family owns the famous South Side Yanni’s restaurant, where he works during the summer.

It was. Perfect 2 on 1 play. Condra was so patient, waited picked his spot and right on the tape to OB.

Great news for the whole organization, at least there will be some Sens playoffs to watch this year.

Good luck Bingo!
