My Hopkins-Pascal ticket in the red zone, in which Hopkins stands a chance of becoming the oldest boxing champion in history, is cheaper than a first round playoff hockey ticket. We're definitely a hockey mad city.

Would the most likely dates for these games be the 18th and 20th?

Not the 20th. Rush is at the Bell Centre.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's 17 and 19.
If not 18 and 21...
I just hope it isn't 18 and 19.. which might be the case since Saturday hockey = ratings.

Can you imagine the price if we go to the Cup finals???? 200 bucks for whites first row would be my guess.
Gotta pay for Scotty G's salary!

Anyways, I'm going to waste 4 hours and end up with 0 tickets, while others will buy 8 tickets with 4 different credit cards in 25 minutes...same ******** all the time

I'll probably wind up trying for blues or Ex-Zone, against my better judgement. $60/ticket isn't so bad.

If we go to finals I guarantee the prices will be like 500$ a ticket cause almost nobody here will get one. These damn scalpers will use as many accounts as they can to buy up as many of the tickets as possible

Final would be 162.16.. for GREY's. Already that is WOW. Incredible profit for everyone involved.
Imo in that case the people profiting the most are the fans! (Just being silly, but really I'd feel as good as if I had made a ton of profit if they made it that far anyways!)

Prices aren't as bad as they seem, cause they do include the usual 10$ service charge (service for what exactly? but that's beside the point).

but damn, it's still pretty expensive for the FIRST round.

Just got my tickets in the mail. I really like the playoff books this year and it looks like they've finally come up with a design that won't be such a pain to tear the tickets out of.

The prices for non-season ticket holders are pretty crazy though. $60 compared to $41 for the first round in the blues? Can only imagine what the finals would be like...

Any educated guesses as to when our first-round home games would be? Unfortunately I will only be able to go on weekends and last year wasn't very friendly for that.

From what I see, unless there are games on back to back games, none of the home games will be on a weekend.

and prices keep going up

hopefully theres some greys or blues available for game 3 or 4 on my turn because whites are getting ridiclous but if its my only option id settle for it i guess im not missing the playoffs last year i went to both game 6 vs caps and pens and it was worth every penny espically that caps game which was the best hockey game i ever been to

Looks like I'll be enjoying the game at home, with my family. Unless my boss says, "Hey Shawn, even though you haven't been to work all year so far, here's a pair of tickets", I'm not going. Way too expensive for my wallet, especially now.

Haha, not likely. A playoff game is the perfect first game to bring my son to.

Teach him how to burn police cars and riot after a first round win. Perfect father-son bonding activity.

Great comment. Canucks fan living here in Montreal. I love going to live hockey so I go to my share of habs game and cheer for them any time they aren't playing the nucks. I got some playoff tickets through the 10-game pack presale and I really don't think the prices are bad at all.

For a little perspective... Blues at centre ice are $60 for the first round. I'm going back to Vancouver for a week and was looking to get tickets there... I could have gotten the last row of the upper bowl, centre ice... for $186/ticket. That's ridiculous IMO.

Does anyone know on which date Game 4 at the Bell Centre will be played on? I know the NHL only releases its full schedual on the 11th but around what date would it be around?
