Might have better luck with an email about the HF thing.

I could see him doing it

Wow, some of you guys are awfully hard on him.

He stayed for 3 hours answering a lot of questions. He obviously can't answer certain types of questions (personnel, which he addressed).

He answered the question about scouting "Terry is all over that".

He answered the RJ question.

He can't answer everything, geez.

---

Also: Hi Mr. Black. How about inviting the HFBoards Sabres moderator crew to a suite for a game?

The chat was rough to read at times. Lots of people using all caps, saying "ANSWER THIS QUESTION" and whatnot. A bit of gratitude would've been good.

I can only imagine the trolling questions he must've seen...

Yeah, like I said earlier, a 'live' chat is not the best venue for this. It would be better to have people submit questions via twitter/email and then post the answers in one shot. That way someone can skim through the list of submittals and screen out the garbage and he doesn't have to feel rushed and overwhelmed.

An HF Q and A is a great idea.

I was very impressed with how long he stayed and chatted. It was legit. And my gripe about what questions got through isn't on him at all - he had screeners for most of it then had to deal with a jumble of nonsense the rest of it. But wow.

If he's over here and seen that you're in the 'Peg... well... add it up.

Yea, maybe Buffaloed or Chain should start a thread with questions to ask and/or suggestions to make.
Pick the most well thought out, smart, non-attacking, interesting questions, say 20 of them. Submit it to Ted Black, ask for his response. Tell him you will post the answers only on HFBoards, as these questions are the most asked on the forum.

Good idea?
Bad idea?

Let's hope he wasn't using Larry Quinn's old PC or I am willing to bet no one named Bucky or Gleason got their questions in...

Very good idea. I'm quoting just so hopefully one of them will be more likely to see this.

He did see. I selfishly sent him a question about moving the team to Winnipeg!

It would have been pretty boring - every question Quinn would have fielded would have been answered with either "trust us, we know what we're doing" or "we already thought of that".
