I won't be able to watch the game Saturday so this will be the last Sens game of the season for me...and don't hate, but I kind of want the Sens to win this one :S

Or at least troll the Habs as best they can

Win this one, I hate the ole **** as much as the LAFS.

And being in the 4 and 5 spots are pretty much guaranteed either way.

As fans, we'd all like to see him play a bit more, but Da Costa will benefit from lessons like these. He's learning what he needs to improve upon to try and gain a roster spot next season.

As for Wick, he hasn't done anything in any game he's played in the NHL. Clouston gave him an opportunity last game to play with skilled players, and he didn't take advantage of it. He's 25 years old, and hasn't shown that he's an NHL calibre player, let alone a good one.
Last game he was on a line with Da Costa and Lessard, he got 7 minutes of ice time, some opportunity playing with such skill.

You also should check Shannon's offensive ouput, 1 even strength goal in the last 22 games is not a player on fire IMO.

If a player is called on to play chunks of ice time on the PP and PK, naturally your time EV TOI will be cut back. The point is, he is playing well and contributing and overall, producing. I don't know, no matter how you slice it, 14 points in 22 games is pretty good.

Gonna miss Carkner this game. Too fun watching him push around the Habs with no one able to stop him.
That's what we have Greening for. He's the most physically built guy Spezza has ever seen.

If you're playing proline tonight, Ottawa is a great pick. Montreal will loose this one so they don't have to play Boston in the first round.

Melnyk has not seen this kid skate,I guess you havent either. There is no way he will be playing in the NHL next year.there is a reason he isnt being played now.And if for what ever reason Shannon is playing very well. The fact you cant see it,like I said what are you watching???

A "severe concussion" is diagnosed when a player has a loss of consciousness as a result of a hit to the head, which is exactly what happened to Pacioretty.

Unless you think he's purposely missing regular season games for the hell of it

I guess you're a better judge of talent than anyone else out there. I mean, after his total of 18 minutes on the ice you know whether or not he's going to play in the NHL next year and where he is suited to be playing.

It's a good thing you're making a lot of money to know these things.

While I don't think we can win this one with the current lineup, I would LOVE to crush the Habs tonight. I've been listening to the pundits here in Montreal talk about their last few games and they always glean over this one as an easy two points.

If there ever was a time to play spoiler, it's now. I don't really think we'll pick any lower than 5th at this point anyway so let's beat them into submission! Go Sens Go!

Its true that Da Costa is a pretty weak skater right now. It is up to him to work on it during the summer to prove himself in training camp.

CC is coaching his last few games here. I am guessing he doesn't give a $#!^ about how many mins player x gets. He is playing the guys he likes and that's it. He wants to win hockey games and win HIS way. Da Costa will get his time next year.

Don't really want to end the season with Habs fans singing (and I don't just mean ole), either. Though, perhaps that would be fitting.

I predict the game goes to OT.

Da Costa hasn't shown the best skating, but I've seen much worse in the NHL. He's still able to keep up with the play, and make some good moves. He also has a nice shot and if Condra (?) was a bit faster he would have had an assist in the game against Philly. Like I said there's not enough information to say one way or another, but I like what I've seen so far even in his limited minutes.

Clouston got pissed off during his pre-game interview when a reporter asked him what he wanted to be doing next season. Pretty funny.

I would be pissed off too, what a ridiculous question. Some of the questions these "reporters" ask make no sense. I would love to see someone respond with "that's the best question you can come up with? Next."

On another note, is this game televised nationally on the CBC tonight or just in Montreal and Ottawa?

The way I see it, we're finishing the season 26th in the standings even if we win the remaining games. Go for the win. **** Montreal.
