Technically tonight is not a must win. The only "must" is that we get 1 point so that we continue to control our own destiny.

Yes, technically..but I'm sorry..I have NO desire to then have to count on the Thrashers beating Carolina tomorrow, and then us having to beat the Devils, Saturday. So, as far as I'm concerned, it's a must win, and the Rangers better be treating it as such. Nothing less then a victory tonight is acceptable in my opinion.

You're still mistaken. If we get 1 point and 2 points...or 2 points and 1 point in our next two games what Carolina does is irrelevant. We get 3 points the rest of the way and we're in, end of story.

Better win this game, that's all I gotta say.

It was an absolute miracle that Montreal, Buffalo and Carolina actually all won their games.

Big game tonight, 4-2 win.

Gilroy really playing up front? Im sure he will get very little playing time, but I'm kind of excited to see that (im sure im in the minority on this one). Gilroy with a big goal tongiht if so, Lets Go Rangers.

Lol..dude, I get that. Trust me, I do. I have gone over the #'s in my head a million times. I even said on another board the other day, that the Canes can go 2-1 in the last 3, but as long as we go 1-1-1, we'll still make it. I get all of it, I understand it, and I will accept it if it happens.

But I just do not want them to ****ing lose tonight, it is really that simple.

True. Last thing I want is to have to worry about winning a shootout against NJ to make it.

“Torts must have Callahan sitting on the bench from now to the end of the playoffs,” suggests Perlmutter. “Ryan’s presence will pack an emotional punch after every shift.

“The coach should give Brandon Dubinsky the “A” that Cally wore because Dubie is the most logical candidate. If the Rangers play in the postseason the way they did against Boston, the Cup is a reachable goal.”

WB Loffen!

We've got this game, there is no doubt in my mind that this is going to be a blowout for the Rangers! LGR!

Lets Go Rangers!!

ps. If the thrashers score first am i going to have to wade through pages of "seasons over" "trade hank" "trade gaborik" "relocate team!" "impeach obama" "2012" doom scenarios while its still the first period?

I'm sick to my stomach thinking about this game. It should be an easy win, but you never know with this team.

You sure will, thats why we pray for a NYR goal in the first 8 seconds of game to avoid that.

Now we're gong to lose because Loffen made the GDT.

Gonna have to go 1-0-1 to finish the season, unless someone can reach up Carolina's ass and pull out the horseshoe that's stuck up it.

Im assuming he is playing forward cause of the projected lineup. Regardless I dont think he sees many minutes. Just would love for him to get on the score sheet if thats the case.

Edit: Is it also possible one of our dmen is banged up and this is for precaution? I know Staal and Girardi have had their bumps and bruises in last few games.

It was 5. And imagine if we didn't lose 6 in a row...or 11 of 15 in February.

7 game point streak. We 5 won in a row, lost in a shoot out, won the next time out!
