We all knew that the Canes would destroy the Thrashers tonight. ):
I was counting on the Flyers to win, but OF COURSE Buffalo comes back...
I'm pretty much ready to let go of any hope of making the playoffs. :/

It's basically all effin BS.

I realize that the Rangers had to take care of their own business vs. Atlanta, but for Atlanta to play the way they did at the Garden, and then to lay down completely at home to a division team needs to be investigated.

Not this season. The Devs have won their two last games against us in regulation as well.

Welp, I've jumped ship. No way we beat the Devils AND Canes lose. I'm willing to bet Canes do lose and we lose a 2-1 game against Devils, BOOK IT!

PS - I told my friend yesterday Canes would blow out Thrashers he said no way...

So we have to beat the Devils.... and Tampa has to beat Carolina in any capacity... in what now is a meaningless game for them, other than "momentum".

I have a feeling we beat Jersey, but Tampa loses.

Stll don't know how going 10-4-1 over the last 15 isn't good enough.

Regardless of WHO they lost to, .700 hockey is on pace to win a conference.

That is just nonsense.

If we had gone to the net with any fire at all, The Thrashers would have folded. We gave it to them.

LOL. Ready for this:

Canes lose the game in OT, and the Rangers lose the game in the shootout to miss the playoffs! LOL

Not feeling good about Tampa beating the Canes. They will be resting up.
Could get lucky, I guess.
Surprise me, Lightning.

I love how the Hurricanes have more losses than wins, yet are in the playoffs. Great job, NHL.

And Bettman will be smiling.

Rangers don't make the playoffs, I will not watch a minute of the playoffs.

I don't understand how 10-4-1 just isn't good enough.

While it's not Rangers\Devils, let's not forget that the Canes and Bolts are division rivals. I know Tampa now has nothing to play for in terms of standings, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind knocking a division opponent out of the playoffs.

I didn't watch 81 games this year to quit now. I still believe.

How old was that stat that said no one has missed the playoffs after being in the top 8 after thanksgiving?

Hockey is different here, we're about to break another trend.
