I'm pretty much ready to let go of any hope of making the playoffs. :/

I realize that the Rangers had to take care of their own business vs. Atlanta, but for Atlanta to play the way they did at the Garden, and then to lay down completely at home to a division team needs to be investigated.

Welp, I've jumped ship. No way we beat the Devils AND Canes lose. I'm willing to bet Canes do lose and we lose a 2-1 game against Devils, BOOK IT!

PS - I told my friend yesterday Canes would blow out Thrashers he said no way...

So we have to beat the Devils.... and Tampa has to beat Carolina in any capacity... in what now is a meaningless game for them, other than "momentum".

I have a feeling we beat Jersey, but Tampa loses.

Rangers don't make the playoffs, I will not watch a minute of the playoffs.

While it's not Rangers\Devils, let's not forget that the Canes and Bolts are division rivals. I know Tampa now has nothing to play for in terms of standings, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind knocking a division opponent out of the playoffs.

I didn't watch 81 games this year to quit now. I still believe.

How old was that stat that said no one has missed the playoffs after being in the top 8 after thanksgiving?
