I cant deal with this guys idiocy anymore. What a dumb **** of a coach... and with the fact that him and Lombardi have their heads so far up each others ***** ensures that he will be our coach for the next decade to come..

speaking of Ensure.. I hope you choke on it tonight Murray.

god ****ing damn it.
We can't even score on a two ****ing minute power play, let alone pull the goalie. The Kings looked like **** with goalie pulled during the last 60 seconds. What do you expect?

Both teams also must lose in regulation. If one wins and the other loses in overtime, they get the 5th seed.

We really needed at least a point tonight and we blew it.

Thats what is frustrating, our lineup is already depleted and awful coaching decisions are compounding the problem.

Oops forgot, we should have pulled Murray too, then it would have been 16 on 5... but we still would not have scored.

And I thought we sucked at empty nets.

I rather have Harrold replace Moller. Penner was in invisible, except when he made turnovers.

Goes without saying. But I don't think it really matters who we play as long as it's not Vancouver. We shall see. Phoenix going to San Jose certainly isn't easy.

All I wanted was a 4th or 5th seed. Didn't matter. Home ice/away ice. Who cares. We needed to play Nashville or Phoenix to have a good shot at advancing. Now it's pretty much lined up those two teams are gonna take 4th/5th.

Nashville will walk over St. Louis.

Too many grinders and role players on this team, not enough skill. The only skilled player we have is a 5'8 kid from Sweden who gets punked every time he touches the puck.

Moller is so small out there. He also has this bad habit of dropping his head at the worst times. I hate to say it, but I never see him being effective at the NHL level as a top 6, and he doesn't really fit anywhere else.

It was good to see players take some initiative and skate it out of the zone.

Doughty and Johnson haven't been great on the PP. Martinez and Stoll had a better chance of scoring.

... Kings played hard. Quick had a good game.

They just lost to a team that's been on a roll, Anaheim has won eight of their last 11 and they were at home to boot. It was a close game that just didn't go the Kings' way.

Lindback's playing for Nashville tomorrow, apparently. Quick will be in net again, I presume?

wow people are mad about that loss

I don't care about just wining a round in the playoffs, i want the cup. For that to happen the Kings will have to win 4 series where they are the underdog, therefore i dont care if we play Nashville at home in the first or Vancover away, you got to beat 4 teams in the end anyway

Eh, whatever...

I hope the standings stay exactly as they are. I want Detroit; I think we can hang with em.

Nucks-Hawks
Sharks-Ducks
Wings-Kings
Preds-Yotes

Three EPIC series, and one that nobody gives a damn about; I'll take it.

Agreed, trade him to the East conference and probably get some decent return. It's much softer over there. Rather scratch him and play Harrold from now on.

There is no way there going to beat Vancouver or San Jose by trying to win 2-1, just not going to happen, way to much firepower.

I'm not saying totally open things up, but they need to generate more offense from the blue line because the forwards on this team are just not skilled enough. Doughty, Johnson and Martinez are a strength that our system doesn't use enough of.

So when we get swept by Vancouver, is Murray still here next year?

Ive said it for the entire season. Doughty and JJ, as cool and sexy to watch as they are, aren't good enough pp qb's. Neither of them know how to be a pp qb. The only true qb this team has is Stoll as much as it pains to say. I think he should be used on the top pp unit for that reason. The reason Martinez looks better than JJ and Doughty is because he doesnt do any of this head fake walk the line fancy play stuff, he gets the puck, shoots immediately if the lane is open, or immediately passes it if not

not surprised that the Ducks got in by beating the Kings, it could have been worse the Kings could have been in the Ducks position and they would have be eliminated tonight
