I feel like we need to win in dominate fashion to get our confidence back.

Just win, no matter how... just ******* win. Shouldn't be too much to ask when going against 2nd worst team in the conference.

2 points and we're #2 seed.

I expect nothing short of a win. The team played well i thought against Buffalo, just coulnt bury the chances. A repeat effort tonight should produce a win, and a little confidence.

20 out of 21 wins, I think we will win this win if the same effort from last night is there. And if you are going to the game, cheer them, don't boo them.

Seriously, the last thing we need are bold ass predictions right now. Team's been on the skids for a while. Quit it.

Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked. We generally own the Isles, and I can see us stomping them down a bit.

I see tonight going one of two ways:

1) We beat the Isles soundly. This is what I initially predicted before the Ottawa game. Pens will probably win tonight but 2 points gives us the division anyway.

2) We lose to the Isles, but the Pens lose as well. Therefore we still win the division, but do it in a hollow way that doesn't give us much momentum going into the POs.

It's still very possible that they choke and lose the division, but I kinda feel like they will barely hold on (but not convincingly) and it'll give the media all this fodder to boost up the hype about how great this team is despite the fact that they've been putrid since the ASG.

Apparently the awards are already announced:

http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/f...d-winners.html

MVP: Giroux
Class Guy: Boucher
Lindbergh (most impoved): Nodl
Barry Ashbee: ... Meszaros?

not as nerve wracking as last years 82nd game, but still very important. Just score more goals than the Islanders.

Mez has been a beast since Pronger has been out. A few mistakes here and there, but he's generated a lot of chances as well.

It's either going to be Mez or Kimmo, but most likely Mez because the entire world overlooks Timonen's talent.

Also, Giroux would absolutely win Lindbergh if he wasn't winning MVP already.
