That's confirmation? Doesn't the word "might" mean it's up in the air?

The reporter said Hedman originally wasn't going to play. But now he is.

Had to watch the Ranger game on delay because I had company that wanted to go out to eat at lunch time.... I'm so stoked. Let's Go Tampa!!!!!!!! Started the game and the drinking at like 1:45 and it probably won't stop until much later. Please please please let Tampa win this game in any way imaginable. I miss NYR Playoff hockey.

It's sorta sad that the REAL biggest game of the season isn't actually a Rangers game.

Oh well. I bleed blue and white tonight.

Come on Tampa, I'm dreading waking up in the morning looking at my Ipod and seeing a Carolina win.

A few Isles and Devs fans in the Canes GDT all sour grapes wishing them luck.

Dear God please win tonight Tampa I am begging. A grown man groveling over a sporting match have mercy on my soul, but dammit just win.

I've been counting down for the game since our's ended....
Originally I wasn't going to watch the game, go out and start chillen on this saturday night in NYC but honestly, it's too monumental to ignore. My heart is going to be racing until that first goal tonight. If Tampa scores first I'm going to start feeling a lot better, if the Canes score first, I'm gunna explore the medicine cabinet during the first intermission.

Me too. I told all my friends i am busy tonight and can't be bothered. So basically, my entire saturday is dedicated to the rangers. My mood for the next week will be determined by the outcome also.

I can't imagine an NHL team ever mailing one in. Especially with such competitors as Vinny, Stamkos, St. Louis etc.

Debbies fans must be all depressed yo know it wold have been like winning the SC if the Devils would have won today...kind of like Marty's quotes that were in the paper today.

"Top Dog, what does that mean?" Brodeur said. "We're all good in different ways. The Rangers are more popular than we are."

"For all the success we've had, that [popularity] should have changed a lot sooner," he said.

LMAO

Torts said he has been holding it in, but couldn't any longer bc he is so frustrated by new rule, which was pushed 4 by Red Wings I believe.

This True?

"should have?" That makes it sound like the popularity is shifting at all.

Not trying to be pessimistic, but does anyone else have that bad feeling tonight won't end well?

Shh, we're all feeling it.

I'm hoping the collective negative energy building inside of the NYR fanbase can put some rain clouds over the Canes.

Do it for your boy Del Zotto even though he's not on the club right now but is a important piece of the organization.
